In response to the few SCS members that felt it necessary to put down VSN, other members' creations, and consequenty, discrediting their abilties, I would like everyone to refer to the SU! Credo for the real reason we're all part of this great stamping community:

I just want to add: THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL OF YOU TALENTED LADIES FOR SHARING YOUR ABILITIES WITH ALL OF US. THANK YOU FOR "CLOGGING" THE SITE WITH SUCH WONDERFUL ART.
While I understand your feeling behind this post, I think that you should have just left it alone. Daven closed that thread for a reason. There is no reason to dredge this up again.

Yep, definitely best left alone...I read some of it and it wasn't pleasant so I walked away quietly. I have gotten caught up in some of the event ugliness before and then felt horrible for my comments later..therefore, I learned from my mistakes. Do not react when you displeased with comments made.
So on to happier things like complimenting on the beautiful creations flooding the gallery.

I had to search out the thread and see what I was missing. I had an open house yesterday and haven't had time to be around. I love that there's so much sharing and learning going on here. It's a great place to gather some information, talk about stamping and be a part of a community. Sometimes, as in all families, it gets a little crazy. But we move on...
The only thing that really drives me nuts is stupid mindless OFF TOPIC chit chat in the middle of a discussion. If you feel the need for inane banter do it in the appropriate forum.

This is what Daven said in regards to the thread... I understand that some of you were offended/bothered, whatever by the original thread post. I must admit I'm a little more bothered by the piling on that's taken place in some of the responses.
I actually *appreciate* hearing feedback about what people *don't* like around here. otherwise I feel like maybe they're talking to everyone else and I'm just not hearing it. so please, if someone says "I'm not so crazy about..." let them say it without recrimination.
since this thing went off-topic long ago, I'm closing the thread.
I was also bothered by the "piling on" effect, and so I chose to stay out of it. Like Daven said, people should be able to say they dislike something on the site without 50 members jumping all over them for their opinion.
There is no need to keep re-hashing it and bashing on Vee. The thread is locked and that should be the end of it.
Also, FYI, not everyone comes here because of Stampin Up! There are many other wonderful stamp companies represented and that needs to be remembered.
