I am lovin' these pics . SOOOO cute!! I don't think I have any pics to share of my furbabies getting into my stuff, but my kitty just had kittens a week ago so I can share them with you ....
Korin, they're so cute!! I love new kittens. They're just adorable.
Love this thread and all the pics. We have two furbies, Dixon, who is all black and polydactyl, and Checkers who is a HUGE cat, he is a bit overweight at 23lbs, but the vet reckons he should weigh about 18lbs or so. He's so big he can get his paw up on to the kitchen counter top without leaving the floor lol.
I don't have my own crafting space yet so they haven't been a problem. My last little guy used to come and join me but mainly to enjoy the head from the desk lamp. He lived to 15 and his little sister 18 - I still miss them.
Currently I'm volunteering at a no-kill cat shelter in the neighbourhood so I get plenty of kitty fixed every week. We've currently got around 70 residents. It's been a busy busy kitten season!
You can see our kitties here if you want to ohhh and ahhhh over some more lol!

I hadn't really thought about it in that way but now that you mention it... Kala looks to see what is on the kitchen counter top. I forget sometimes just how big he is.

Ohhhhhh, what a happy mama! She is beautiful too.

well, looking at that didn't take me long to find on I wanted - AC2 please LOL
She's adorable isn't she. My favourite of that litter is little Fang Fang, but I'm currently working on socialising Helga. It's taken almost a year but now she will let me stroke her only in certain places though, and she actually pads and drools. I'm hoping if I can work with her enough my husband will let me add her to our family ;)

LOL yep it's a bit disconcerting. I'm making a sandwich and the next thing I see a paw right there beside my hand
Kitty #1 - HENRY = "I'm just happy to be here. Can I go out? Can I come in? Is it my turn to eat from both bowls?"
Kitty #2 - LOUIE = "That box is mine, don't bother emptying it! That chair is mine, too! Let me tell you all about the neighborhood! Why is my food dish half empty?"
Pup #1 - ABBY = "I never have enough toys...wanna play? You went shopping, did you get me another toy? I know there's a treat or a toy in that bag!"
Pup #2 - PRINCE = "Is it nap time yet? Where's my pillow..somebody moved my pillow. I heard dad's truck, what's taking him so long to come inside?!?!"
Remember....fur IS a fiber!
Henry is an very large orange tiger kitty, 11 years old
Louie is a very large dark tiger kitty, 12 years old
Abby is a Miniature Schnauzer, 6 years old
Prince is also a Miniature Schnauzer, 10 years old
I know I just ate some ten minutes ago, But I felt in the mood for a snack. And, lo and behold, when I looked in my dish, I saw the dish bottom look back. See? Come and see if I'm telling the truth! Oh... this has upset me severely! Yes I know there's kibble on that side and this, but I can see dish-bottom clearly!
I stared in the dish and I measured the place that was empty, and let out a cry! What if I finished this part and that part? It would all be dish-bottom! I'd die! How can you cruelly ignore my complaint? The kibble was low, and you knew it! You're acting as if it was piled to the rim, while I can see dish-bottom through it!
I nibbled some here and I nibbled some there and I dropped one or two, being furious. But nothing improved in this tragic affair, the state of my dish is so serious! I'm not kidding! Oh, please come and see the bare spot on the dish bottom, do as I wish! Then I guess you don't care if I'm starving or not, so I'll eat from the other cat's dish.
Oh I just LOVE that poem! It's so hilarious yet oh so true. I can totally see my old cat thinking just like that with his food bowl. We've only got the one cat now and she's almost 6 months old and when she decides she doesn't want to eat the food in the bowl she'll hunt around the kitchen knocking everything and anything out of her way to find her treats. We have to keep moving them as she keeps eating them all, but so far she's keeps besting us!

Kala thinks that as long as it's not his regular food it's a treat so I put store-bought food in an egg carton for him.
The poem is wonderful ... none of the cats that ever owned me would allow me to let the main bowl be empty-ish. My current cat (the orange one in my avatar) has a second, small bowl and he thinks anything in it is special so when he ignores his normal food for a day (merely nibbling instead of eating) I pour it into the smaller "treat" bowl and he will empty that dish quite happily!
YES! Now I know the name of it, Dish Bottom Phobia is the malady my cat suffers from! She just starts bugging me and going crazy, and sure enough, there will be the bottom of the bowl, just barely peeking through all the food that's still in there. But poor baby is an only kitty, no other dishes to steal from - :(
Everytime I want to create my Himalayan jumps up on the table, sniffs everything & settles in to "help". I gave up awhile ago & just nudge him over to the side as far as I can.
I can't stamp without at least one supervisor. If I get up then the other one gets on the chair. So then I don't have a place to sit or stamp. One of them likes to "walk off" with a pen, a piece of ribbon, whatever she can carry. I'm in the middle of putting a new stamp room together and the friend helping me lay it out laughed when I said I needed a place for a chair for the cat. These are all great stories!
I haven't had time to go through all of the posts, but have enjoyed the last couple pages of CUTE, CUTE cat pictures!!! I'll have to make some time this weekend to read up.
I'm guilty in spoiling my cats, that's for sure...but I get so much love in return. My cats HAVE to be around me. They follow me wherever I go. Kitty, my male cat, loves to sit right on top of whatever I'm working on. You'll usually find Bella, my baby girl, sitting on my lap...making my legs fall asleep. LOL
Pic #1, Bella on my lap
Pic #2, Kitty laying right next to my laptop (he always tries to lay on the keyboard!!!)
Pic#3, both sitting on my craft room chair (how could I shoo them off when they looked so cute and cozy?)
I don't know how I ever missed this thread, but I'm going to have to try to find pics of my dearly departed "Ernie Boy." I'll have to actually take a picture of a picture if I find it. These pictures and stories are making me miss him so much. Since you are all cat lovers you how that is.

That is so cute! Everyone's cats are so adorable!!! Maybe I need to hide food or treats for my Ralphie. He needs a job! He is always looking to get into something! ;)
Couldn't use an egg carton; Ralphie would try to eat it! Cut some mum flowers to bring in last night; had to promptly take them outside; he wants to eat them. (big no-no, poisonous-my other cats never bother them.) But he (and the other kitties) are worth much more than mum flowers *or a Christmas tree, or artificial flowers, live flowers, or leaving ribbon or fruit sitting out, or pencils sitting out. Notice a pattern ! LOL!

LOL!!! My Bella leaves real flowers/plants alone....BUT bring in anything artificial (flowers or Christmas tree), she's all over it!!!
Both of my cats are fatties....close to 15 lbs each. I've put them on a diet, but the LOVE to eat!!! I tried using one of those treat balls to give them a workout. Kitty is a little smartie. I thought they would play with it like the other toys and chase it around...nope....he figured out that he just needs to nudge the ball a little and treats will come out. Bella, on the otherhand,....no clue!!!! She just whines because she sees Kitty eating treats. She just can't figure out her treat ball, even after I show her.
DH cooked bacon and biscuits for breakfast this morning. As usual, I just wrap mine up and put it in my lunch bag for work. Well, it is sitting on my bed, as I am getting ready and Wizzy kitty can smell the bacon - he tries so hard to get into that bag LOL
His nose was working overtime. I just love my kitties.

well, now it won't let me either. That is just weird. And I can't edit it out.
I will have to see what else I can figure out to do.
It is so cute! Coco looks like this giant blk/white watermelon next to a little white dogger. LOL

Karen, absolutely adorable!!!!!!! Toby is so cute!!! I figure Coco is about 20lbs since Toby looks about 1/2 the size. Don't fret, Coco....my sis has a 20lb cat. Both my cats are bigger/fatter than Toby.
How cute!! I totally understand your standing up. They have us so well trained. Did the new "kid" get accepted right away or was there some kitty fighting for a while?
