If you have completed all the steps to becoming a member of the demo side, you would see the demo threads at the top of page that lists all the forums. In other words, on the same page where you clicked "General Stamping Talk" to come to this list of threads.
Another way to check is to go to your profile (click on your name up on the top right of your screen where it says "Welcome,dianegulick" and then click on "Group Memberships" on the left. That will show you what groups you are a member of and what groups you are eligible to join.
I've found the moderators to be very, very helpful in answering questions and getting me back on track. You might re-read the post about joining the demo group here:
Forums at Splitcoaststampers
and then contact one of the moderators listed in that thread if you still have questions.
