good morning.
it has been a long few weeks.
at work we had three deaths within weeks of each other,
very sad, very emotional.
i want to stop making sympathy cards...
makes you treasure and live every day!
i am on vacation ~ looking forward to doing nothing.
here are my favorites:
Good morning, I'm with Janice.. been well a long week for me too... the loss of a good friend took the sails out of me this week. And as Nancy said take nothing for granted. Life is too short.. as he was only 38 years old..
jaydekay Darling boy image and I love her background and layout Jaydekay 2 The coloring on the flower image is stunning and is in perfect contrast to the white lattice and green bg.
Justwritedesigns This card popsright off the screen...even in thumbnail size
Miss Boo I love the clever designer paper hills on this.
NANCYRUTH I love this underwater scene and the bright colors
Diamondangelfish The turtle image is fantastic with the embossed background and I love the bottle embellishment
Janice, hope you have a better week especially being you are on vacation.
Here are a few of my favorites. Someday I will take time to figure out out to link the "modern" way. Until then....
This one I put into my fav's I loved what she did with this new background stamp. Sorry I do not know how to link. Even my husband who is a computer programmer has difficulty. Is there an easier way? I have always wanted to join in, I enjoy it every Sunday.
Thanks so much Jen (Miss Boo) and Kittie for mentioning my Tangerine Flower card. Y'all really put a huge smile on my face and I'm so honored to included in your faves this week. And Jen, thanks so much for letting me know about this and the mention on your blog. Your blog rocks!!
Hope you enjoy your vacation Janice - and no mention of rain .
Hope you don't have to make any sympathy cards for a while. It's not fun making them when you need them.
Only one from me this week, it's been a sort of busy scrappy week. So I'll enjoy looking at what I missed - I've already spotted some cards like the Message in a Bottle and NancyRuth's underwater scene that I did spot during the week.

Janice, so sorry to hear about the sadness, and I know how difficult it is when sympathy cards are needed. They must always be over the top to convey your heart. Hope your vacation is refreshing to you.
Thanks also for keeping this thread going. I just love it! Here are my favs of the week, and boy was it a goooood week! Thanks to each one for sharing these beautiful ideas!

Thank you so much for mentioning my card Janice! It was the first time that I've been able to stamp since being back from vacation and I'm glad you liked it
I finally made it home, and thought I would check in before getting to bed!
Janice- I am so sorry to hear about your past week- I hope you have a wonderful vacation with only GOOD news from family and friends!
I spent the weekend in Ky, my Mom was 80 on Friday 7/10 and we had a big surprise party for her birthday- it was very successful (the surprise and the party).
I did not have much gallery time, but did pick out a couple:
