I love watercoloring with my aquapainter and "ink puddles" Sometimes I'll stamp a bunch of images on Naturals white paper and just sit there and color them, saving them for a day I'll want to use them. Maybe I didn't get to color enough as a kid??

No favorites. I just like to color! I like to try new things. I use the markers a lot, either with blender pens or just plain. I love to color directly on my stamps and then stamp the image on the paper. I also like to use the watercolor pencils. I guess it just depends on what kind of mood I'm in at the time.

Scribble markers on an unused CD and paint with my water brush. This allows me to blend colors all I want without cleaning out the lid of my stamp pads all the time. The CD washes with water.
Markers?
Watercolor pencils?
Chalks?
Pure color pencils?
What's your fave?
I like to use watercolor pencils cause I find I can shade most effectively with them. I also like just normal colored pencils . . . almost as good as the watercolor pencils . . .
Oh my - I can't believe I am the first one with Prismacolor & Mineral spirits! It is such a great way to color. THe mineral spirits really make the colors POP and blends the pencil marks too. I HAD to get the 120 set from Viking with the great codes I get from you guys. If you haven't tried it yet you can come and play at my house!
I really like to color with markers because the colors match the cardstock so well. I have all 48 and use them often. Also really like the watercolor pencils with the blender pens. Don't have the aqua painters yet; I hear they are even nicer to work with ...
As someone said, it depends on the look that I want to achieve. The first thing that came to mind, however, was watercolouring using Stampin' Up! classic ink. So easy, no extra products to pull out of the drawer.
The one technique I almost never use is the chalks. I'm never satisfied with the finished product.

prismacolors and stumps all the way!!! Seriously, coloring with anything is the best way for me--if I stamp it, I HAVE to color it...guess I was deprived as a child, too;)
I like to use the blender pens either with my watercolor pencils or SU classic ink. I definitely also want to try the aqua painters sometime soon - I don't have those yet. ~Maria
I'd have to say Prismacolor pencils. I have always loved the soft lead and the variety of colors. But I have to say that more and more I am using my Arylic paints to color in the images. Sometimes I will combine both the pencils and the arylic paints.

Markers are my first choice and my next fav are blender pens/ink pads or chalks. I also read on SCS that you can color with the markers on a CD and then use the blender pen to pick up the marker color and then color your image. Can't remember whose idea this was, but thanks, it is a fun way to color as well!
I think I'll have to get an aqua painter next and some water color pencils. We also just used the aqua painter with ink pads at our stamp club, this is very fun, too!!
Okay, I just LOVE to color with anything, have since I was a little girl. ;)

Watercolors and blender pens! I so want to try the Prismacolors and Gamsol, but I'm not having any luck finding Gamsol. The lady at Hobby Lobby looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they carried it, and I haven't had any luck finding it at Michaels. I've looked for both Gamsol and just plain mineral spirts. I must be looking in the wrong place! :(
