Okay, I heard the collective "gasps", lol. I love this hobby but it can get a bit overwhelming and quite expensive. I tend to jump in and buy, buy, buy and then not use. I have discovered Bella's and have already accumulated about 20+ (NO regrets, just sayin'...). I love the Paprtrey designs and My Favorite Things has some very cute ones as well. I usually lean towards the "girly" (hense the "Bella's") and whimiscal. I would love to hear about some of your favorite stamp companies.
Love the Hedgehogs, House Mouse, and Fluffles. And I just got some of the Autumn Leaves swirls at Target. They are gorgeous and only cost $10 for the set! As Suzy_H said 'cheap good fun.'
I have stamps from CTMH, TAC (love The Angel Company), Penny Black, Magenta, Judikins, Rubber Stampede, Stampendous, Michael's and JoAnn's dollar stamps, Inky Antics (clear and wood mounted), River City Rubber Works, Sideshow Stamps, Cornish Heritage Farms, and others I can't remember! There are so many companies with wonderful stamps it's a shame to limit yourself to one line.
I own stamps from so many different companies that I couldn't possibly name them all. If I see an image I like, I buy it. Doesn't matter if it is clear, rubber, mounted or not; good images are good images.
Rosie's Roadshow! I had to quit going to my LSS so frequently because I couldn't resist picking up a few once or twice a week. It sure adds up quickly!
Also, PaperTrey Ink. I use their sentiments frequently now. Love many of the images too. They're releasing 5 new sets on the 15th of July and I'm just as excited about that as I am about the new SU catalog.
Everything I make these days is from Crafty Secrets. I love that company and their vintage look. From their designer paper to their cotton scraps....oh, and of course, their wonderful stamps! My dream would to be on their design team! Maybe someday!!
I must say, I love Whipper Snapper and Autumn Leaves...their flourish sets are gorgeous ( and go well with Crafty Secrets!), and Inky Antics. And Penny Black and Stampendous. There. I think I am done.
Art Impressions, WhipperSnapper Designs,A Muse,Impress Rubber Stamps,Penny Black, A Muse, Rosie's Roadshow, Paper Salon,Northwoods, Inky Antics,Stampendous,Stamp Francisco,Rubbernecker,Custards Last Stand.....gee ...thats just off the top of my head....I'd have to go pull them out and look..I buy whatever I like...I'm not faithful to one company...I'm a rubbah ho!!!!
No gasps here! I love My Favorite Things and Penny Black florals. I have them from Cats Pajamas, Stampendous, Inky Antics, Rubbernecker, -- oh heck the list is way too long. I too am a rubber hound and buy what I like and use everything I buy!
I love all of my CTMH stamps but I must say that I have recently fallen into the money pit when it comes to buying individual stamps. You know, you look at a magazine, you see a stamped image and you must have it? And then of course the only place you can get it charges $12.00 for the stamp and $5.00 to ship it. And you have to get it. Yeah, that's me. Not very economical, but when I get the stamps they are almost like decorations. I have them out and about in my craft area and just look at them lovingly. Magenta is a great company by the way.
Personally I go for any great art image that appeals to me. I have an eclectic collection of stamps, so nothing fits any one particular style. One or two bellas might be okay, but I can't see myself buying the whole collection. I like things varied a little more than that. So, I guess I'm trying to say-- surf them all and find what appeals to you. I recently bought an alien stamp in Roswell just to have as a souvineer. The hunt is half the fun!!!!

I have stamps from many companies. My current favorites are Papertrey, Autumn leaves, Hero, A-Muse, and of course my top favorites are the Rubberstamptapestry stamps. I have many SU sets, too.

When I first started stamping, I bought anything and everything. Problem was, none of it coordinated, and I got so frustrated trying to make anything. Then I discovered SU! sets, and bought some of those too. They were so much easier for me to use that three years ago, I decided to limit myself to just SU! and Hero Arts for stamps. About 6 months ago, I finally felt I had learned enough and developed my creative side enough to branch out again. But I'm very careful what I buy--Autumn Leaves sets are great, and I'm looking hard at PaperTrey, too.
I envy the people who can seemingly randomly choose a few stamps and make a gorgeous card, who see the amazing potential in an image. I'm getting there, but guess I'm a really, really slow learner!
OMG I LOVE that!!! I might have to steal that phrase from you and use it..LOL I was looking at my cabinet...I mostly have SU but I have some Stampabilities, Bellas..these little ones I can't remember the name of them, Autumn Leaves clear are nice too and inexpensive to boot! I Found some MSE clear at Hobby Lobby and those are nice. But in general I have to agree with Jeanne I have all sorts, if I like it I get it..dowsn't matter who makes it. And, yes this is not a cheap hobby by any means....my DH was going to add up how much I have spent on card supplies and I stopped him, wouldn't want the man to have a heart attack now would we?

I love the PaperTrey designs. I have all of theirs except the new one. I guess I better get buying it! Because I am an SU demo, I tend to buy more of them, but I am an equal opportunity for all stamps stamper!

I have mostly SU because I am a demo, but I have branched out and love clear acrylic stamps (I'm saving up for a big Papertrey order!) I like Autumn Leaves and also have some the Michaels $1 stamps, which work OK.

No gasp from me! I just bought 4 stamps for $4 at Fred's. *LOL* I thought they were cute and may never use them but looking forward to trying! In general though I like TAC and SU stamps.
I don't discriminate...I love them all! Some of my faves:
PaperTrey Ink, Verve Visual, A Muse, Inky Antics, Rubber Romance, Stamping Bella, and I'm sure there's more...
I remember when I first started stamping someone told me that I'd be able to tell what company a stamp was from just by looking at it. I didn't think that would ever happen. Now I usually can tell who's image it is.
Some of my favorites ~ Magenta, Stamper's Anonymous, Paperbag Studios, Wordsworth, Outlines, Rubber Cottage, MaVinci's, Stampsmith, Penny Black, Hero Arts, Stampland, Stampendous, Great Impressions, Inky Antics, Stampington, Whipper Snapper, Paper Inspirations, Stamp Camp. I couldn't imagine just using one company.
I don't discrimate either...and my workshop is proof...but check out DRS Designs, www.drsdesigns.com, that is where I have been spending alot of time lately...
My absolute favorite non-SU! company is Catslife Press. Then, in no particular order, A Muse Artstamps, Savvy Stamps, Memory Box, Hero Arts, Fontwerks, Autumn Leaves, Technique Tuesday, etc. HTH & happy stamping!
In addition to SU, I love:
justjohanna
A Muse
Hero Arts
Savvy Stamps
Memory Box (those Penguins...)
Cats Pajamas
Purple Onion
Cat's Life (but I don't have any yet)
Autumn Leaves
Technique Tuesdays
Stampendous
My Favorite Things (that penguin thing again)
Rosie's Roadshow (don't have any yet)
Thirdcoast (don't have any yet)
Paper Trey (don't have any yet)
I'm waiting to hit the lottery so I can get the "don't have any yet" list!
I mostly use SU! stamps and products, though I do have a few stamps from the craft stores from when I first started stamping. I also like to use different embellishments I find at the craft stores, usually made my Making Memories. I'll also use store-bought printed paper for OSW's (just getting into using printed papers), and cardstock to supplement what SU! colors I don't have yet.
