i think my first choice is a sketch challenge, i think it is the most versatile.

then my second choice would be a color challenge, tho it can sometimes be limiting to a reason/season/theme. it still gets me to put colors together that i might never have thought to before.

but then i guess the inspiration challenges would maybe be a tie for second. they also can be limiting for reason/season/theme but it makes my mind see things in a different way. i look at magazines and billboards and fabrics and... with a different eye since i discovered the inspiration challenges.

Techniques, for me, because I love them.
I like the Limited Supply ones too - not that they are always easy, but they get you thinking.
I struggle with any type of colour challenge, and if a particular inspiration one doesn't inspire me, then I am pretty much flogging a dead horse. If it does inspire me, though, I could probably make a half-dozen cards if I had the time.

I like the sketch challenge because you can always participate. Sometimes the Limited Supplies or Ways to Use It require items you don't have so you can't always participate. I also like the color challenge because I'm always looking for new color combos.

the sketch and the techniques are definitely my favorite
I often have problems with the color challenges as the colors I'd choose for any given day are very subjective and depend on how I feel!

My favorites are definitely the sketch challenges. I have also done several color challenges.

My favorite is the Inspiration challenge. It really makes you think outside the box sometimes. Second would be sketch.

My fav is the Inspiration Challenge. I think it is amazing to see what diverse cards everyone comes up with when they are inspired by the same thing. I just wish it wasn't on Saturday because I don't get to play that much on the weekend. I do it whenever I can though.

I think challenges in general are terrific. I know I have learned SO much from participating in them.

I've really gotten into recipe challenges! They are helped me get back into paper crafting!!!

I like "use your stash" kind of challenges. You know, the ones that are "use ribbon, jewels, flowers, 3 layers of patterned paper."

I also like sketch and color challenges. Theme challenges too.

Actually, I just like challenges.

I "stalk" the Sketch Challenge each week. I like all of the challenges, but find the sketch and color challenges the most helpful.

As a newcomer I would say sketch and technique. Both of these guide you and teach you how to do things. A few months ago the sketches looked so difficult. I can actually understand them now. I'm getting there!

My favorites are Technique, Ways to Use It, Inspiration and Limited Supplies, in that order. I am not wild about color challenges because I so love choosing my own colors.

I love the sketch challenges! I love other challenges too, but I always come back to the sketch challenges. I don't always have time to participate or upload a SC, but I look at them all the time and admire Roxy's cards--among all the other talented hosts and participants!
The neat thing is, I've learned so much!!!
The support in SCS is fantastic and I log on daily--or try to if I have time to turn on the computer!
