Default Faux Silk Background Technique

Can someone tell me how to do this technique. Saw samples and it is very nice subtle look. Like to give it a try this weekend. Thanks!

Here's a 6x6 technique book page that we did with a great group of ladies here in San Antonio.

Faux silk was my contribution to the swap. Rather than use messy liquid adhesive, you can use your xyron or even monoadhesive (strips run close together) for the same effect.

Enjoy!

Default Rats!

Now I have to go buy a scrapbook for a 6X6 technique book. Jenn, now look what you've done (with a little help from Beate)!

I love the idea of a 6X6 technique book. It's a great idea and looks wonderful. TFS!

Default Faux Silk background technique

I am doing the 6x6 technique book with my Hostess club. Each month we do one or two techniques depending on how time consuming they are and then also make a card with the same technique. They are loving it and really like having writen instructions with their sample.
