Default Fabrico or Craft pads for clothing?

I want to stamp some baby onesies, and I was told to use Frabrico pads (which SU used to carry, which I do not have any). So my question is will the craft pads be just as well on baby clothing? I have used them on other fabric that is not going to get wear and tear with alright results. But this is baby clothing. Should I get Frabrico, or what else could I do?
Thanks for any help.

If you have questions on a specific subject go to forums
and then search.
Type in a few keywords (in this case something like stamp* fabric* ones* or stamp* cloth* baby*) and click "search all terms"

It will bring up a lot of good threads for you to search. Sometimes you have to play with the wording until you find the right one to answer your question.

Whenever you have a question it is a good idea to do your own search first-chances are the answer is waiting for you already.

Hi Jessica,
I just searched this very topic this morning. My friend and I were thinking about stamping tea towels. Here were my search results.

I have used both Craft and Fabrico inks on fabric.....Fabrico pads worked better. The best for fabric (by far) is to use acrylic paints mixed with a fabric medium (SU! used to sell the acrylic paints AND the medium when I started five years ago). You will have positively no fading with this technique - it will look as good after 20 washings as it did when you first did it!! Good luck!

Thank you everyone for your response. I was not aware that I had that type of search option on this web site. LOVE IT! And thanks again.

I only use a ceratin kind of paint when I stamp on clothes. I only know of 2 places to get it. hotpotoes.com or zimprints.com Just search for their fabric paint. It is so soft and it does not fade. You put it on your stamps with a foam brush. My kids made shirts with their handprints and the paint still looks great. HTH

this is just my 2 cents, but I've stamped t-shirts for my kids with just craft ink, and colored in with fabrico markers. they've held up great so far. and my kids are rough on their clothes. HTH
