Default Ezmount and Tack it over

I know you ladies might know the answer to this. I was out of EZmount over the holidays and resorted to that Tack it over or what'ever its called that you spread over the back of stamps to reuse em. Well I now have some more EZmount and want to mount them that way instead. Has anyone put EZmount over tack it over and have it successfully stay on a stamp? I don't want to go through rubbing it all off them if I don't have to. With smaller stamps they stamp ok with the Tack it over but I find on the larger stamps I don't get an even image.

TIA

I have removed some TIO&O by sticking it in the freezer and pulling it off...I use a VERY small amount of TIO&O on my stamps so I don't guarantee this will always work...You can also try soaking them in hot soapy water for 10-15 minutes, sometimes it will gum up and you can roll if off pretty easy...

I think I remember reading that vegetable or mineral oil is is the only thing that will remove it. Very messy. Tombow mono multi will wash with soap and water.
