Smile Eyelet Washers

Is there a right and/or wrong way to use these? Do you place them over the back of the eyelet with the rounded part up facing you, or down so that it faces the cardstock? Thanks a bunch.

I'm not sure if this is right, but I used them on the back with the rounded part facing upward...I was never told how to use them "properly" I just guessed this.

Here's a few samples of how I've used them (I'm bad with words, at least I've got pictures!)

I've used it with eyelets

and without

hope that helps!

Do you mean the little metal circles? I bought them to use behind brads, so that the brad wouldn't rip through the paper. I'll have to take another look at concave and convex sides. Then I'll get back to you.

Default Yes, I am talking about the little metal ones

I have tried them both ways, but honestly, they haven't turned out very well either way for me. Once in a while I get one that looks o.k. With the rounded side up, I'm not sure the eyelet is even fastened. But with the rounded side down, it doesn't look any better than it does without the washer. Well, with some eyelets anyway.
