I check them out once in a while and I never actually checked to see if anyone really commented on my cards...lol.

You have tons of comments on your cards so maybe you missed them??
It's possible that I may have missed them, but it seems that it happens often, not just once or twice. I watch my comments pretty closely, too, so I usually notice when someone from the commenting thread has visited my gallery.
I enjoy leaving comments and looking at new galleries, which is the main reason I participate, but it's nice to be appreciated, too!
I like to play the comment game---I just visited AbbysGrammy's gallery and she has awesome stuff! I could have made many more comments, but stopped for lack of time. I love to see other people's work and get ideas---I'm just a clean and simple stamper, so I'm always looking for inspiration! It is a bummer when people don't play by the rules, though...
Monkeymama, Thanks for your kind comments. I always look at everyone's galleries and feel like my cards are very plain but I like to keep it simple. I just ran into a problem while commenting to Michello's gallery. My computer must of hung up and when I went back to leave a second comment I couldn't and now I can't find her. So when I track you down I will leave that second comment.
I don't participate anymore because I seemed to get "skipped" when I do. Oh well!

I recognized your blog in your siggy, never knew what your SCS name was, lol! I love your style and if you were a SU demo, I'd invite you to join my demo swap group. Though your PTI cards are just yummy.
I do visit and comment in the gallery whenever time permits me. I tend to hop around in there and comment randomly on whatever catches my eye on those occasions.

I try to make at least one round in the comment threads every day. For a while I thought I was being skipped a lot, or that people were leaving only one comment instead of two. Then I realized comments were being made on some of my older cards that, when I posted them, I hadn't checked the box to receive email notifications for comments left on them.
When you're at your My Gallery page, at the bottom you can choose to sort your creations by the "last comment." That's an easy way to see which of your things are getting recognized.
Sometimes I've been skipped if somebody posts to the thread at almost the same time I do. That person sees only the post before mine, and chooses that person's gallery instead of mine. If I notice that I've done that to somebody, I'll leave comments for both people because I know from experience how disappointing it is to be overlooked.
Even though it can be disheartening, I just try to remember that it's better to give than to receive. ;) (Although I'll admit it IS very enjoyable to receive affirmation for my work! )
I never check mine. But I do get email notices of comments on my cards. I always post more than the 2 comments on all galleries on those threads. I will try to get to visit you Annie!
You can check to be emailed when comments are left????? Wish I knew that!!!! I love getting comments and have to try to remember how many each card had so I can tell if I get a new one.

I have not participated. I like the idea of it, but personally have such a small gallery I would actually feel bad for the person who posted after me! I do go through the new uploads for the day (yes, all of them!) each evening and I do comment there some. If I favourite a card, I always leave a comment.
