Default ever hear of stick 'n peel for acrylic stamps and blocks

Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this stick'n peel yet or has any of it.it is a reusable.YES REUSABLE cushion for people who stamp with acrylic blocks no more mess or sticky foam to cut.this just stays mounted right on what ever size blocks you have then you take your unmounted rubber without a foam backing and lay right on top of the block with the stick 'n peel.it clings right to it and is see through.

I just got my first copy of stamp vamp news.when I ever opened up the cover and seen this I was so thrilled to know that after going thru cutting the ez mount foam this is a 1 time deal.At least I think it is.I need to hear more about it from other companies.I will post a website once I find it again so you can all see for yourself. It only shows a picture of it.It is so new the website doesn't say how much it is or that you can buy it yet so they musn't of gotten it in yet.I'll have to keep checking back.

www.tsukineko.com
when you go to the website click on new products and scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a photo of it.

I love the idea of no more messy scissors.Did anyone lese read this in that stamp vamp newsletter.or catch this.

It says you can put differant things on the block with this stick 'n peel like bubble wrap, string on a brayer, rubber bands.and it sticks right to it and ink it up and stamp on cs.all youhave to do to clean it is wash in water then air dry.this will save so much money on buying ez mount.if w use this over and over again.

Wow! If it is what it seems to be - that would be KEWL!
Also, a new product seems to be a glue pad for glitters, pearl ex, etc that doesn't need heat! Now that's would be cool too.

Thanks for the info,

Also in this same magazine stamp vamp news it showed a heating tool which is a knife that you use to cut ezmount foam.once you apply your rubber stamp to the ez mount foam.the heating tool cuts and heats it all at once .so no more goo.and mess when it melts as you cut it seals it so you get a nice crisp edge.so this is another possible tool if you really like the ez mount foam.even though it's hot it's not hot enough to burn or warp your rubber stamp.

it doesn't say where you can buy this tool though.so unless you have seen it already.I will keep you updated if I do see it any where,or get more info I'll post again.

I think it is another brand of Grafix. You stick it to your stamp and trim and then can put the stamps on blocks over and over. I cannot find that it would hold stamps just to the blocks without being first adhered to the stamp.

well the stick 'n peel mounts on the block as your cushion or foam.with a cling side to it.then the rubber sticks on that.

I just hope the products is as good as it looks.it's almost to good to be true.and very inexpensive also.check out the website

this seems really cool! just one question? if you have completely unmounted stamps, how would you store them? they wouldn't cling to a CD case or anything. and the last thing I want to do is to be digging through a pile of rubber.

just a thought I had. I think it sounds awesome! but I'd have to have a solution to this b-4 I'd really be able to use it.
thanks
Michelle

What makes the rubber stick to the cling vinyl?

vinyl cling you put on the sticky side of the foam that they come with. and then the vinyl clings to an acrylic block.

EZ mount foam has a sticky side and a cling side, and you stick the rubber on the sticky side.

the stick 'n' peel has a cling side that would cling to a block, and a sticky side that you would mount the rubber to if I'm understanding it correctly.

I know that's more than you asked for, but I hope it helped anyway.

Thanks Michelle. That is exactly how the Grafix works minus the foam. I can see how it works now. In other words you are making your own EZ mount so to speak? I was trying to imagine the bare rubber being attached to something and removed over and over and knew there had to be something glued to it at some point.

How about using the slim CD cases? They would probably work in this - although they wouldn't stick.

You could probably put some of the stick n' peel inside the cd cases or whereever you are storing the stamps (if it works the way we're thinking it does).

Another question. If the foam is stuck to the block how do you see through the block as it seems the whole block would have to be covered to accomodate every shape of stamp.

check out the website in the first post.I don't think the stick 'n peel, has a sticky side to it at all.the rubber just clings to the stick 'n peel just like the block.Must be whatever the stick 'n peel is made of.if it was sticky on the rubber side that your stamping everything would be sticking to it.so both sides must be a cling.and whatever they used to make it out of clings to it.

I can't be 100% sure but the website is listed in my first post/you still store your stamps in a cd case so you can find them.and keep them all together this way.

I googled Tack n'peel and found a very small little description for it. It says it is "a unique reusable product designed for creatign a stamping block." http://www.chaweb.org/eweb/DynamicPa...7-85B6A144132C
Here's the link for the description(scroll down about halfway). There is only a small picture of it a Tsukineko.com, although one of the Google hits was a newsletter for Rubber Soul, so maybe they have it already. Looks interesting.
