Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has had a weekend where you are able to stay home all weekend and stamp and then you look at your stamps and go onto the computer and look in the Gallery at all of the beautiful cards and get great ideas but then don't stamp anything?
I think it is because I am not feeling well. My appendix is acting up again and causing me alot of pain. I was in the ER and they gave me some pain meds to take at home for it. I actually feel more in pain now but I am going to the doctor in a bit. They will not take it out unless it is really bad due to surgery affecting my brain aneurysm.
Sorry to whine but I was just wondering if I am the only one or not that has ever not stamped when I could have for hours!!!
Sorry to hear about your pain...hope you feel better soon with the meds. If you're in pain then however much time, stamps and ideas you may have but the energy will not be there. And sometimes one is just too lazy to do anything, even stamping!
(((Tina))) So sorry you're in pain...that really affects everything, doesn't it? And no, you are SO not the only person that doesn't get stamping even with ample opportunity. Most of my free hours to stamp come at night, when I'm generally too tired to feel creative, lol!
Hang in there, Tina! Don't forget to let us know how you're doing, 'k?
I am in the same boat. A few months ago I would get my girls down for a nap and then hurry up and do that days chores and then stamp a card or two, then when they went to bed at night I would try to sneak in one more card or chat until bed time. Now I'm pregnant and so tired all the time that I haven't been cleaning or stamping. So when I do get a chance I try to clean, but this weekend I did manage to eek out 4 cards during VSN. Being crabby and tired and in pain are all drains on your stamping mojo.
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I am healthy and will have the weekend off, instead of stamping, I too come to this site and see all the wonderful cards and all the stamps I do not have. I wait until there is 1 hour left to go to work to start getting creative.

I think we've all been there at some point. It is frustrating, to say the least. It is interesting how some days I can sit down and whip out a few cards without any trouble and others I just try and try and nothing is happening. The mojo is dead. I'm sorry to hear you're in so much pain...I hope you're able to find your stamping mojo soon!
I've had those days, too. I've even been feeling just fine and haven't stamped a darn thing. I kick myself afterwards, but hey, I figure sometimes I need to be lazy and just appreciate what others are doing here on SCS.
Sorry you are feeling bad! I know what you mean. This weekend it was yucky raining all weekend. I had all weekend to get some cards made and I didn't make one. I did clean up a bit but that was Sunday evening. I don't know what it is but I had a chance to stamp and just couldn't make myself get up and do it.

Oh, goodness! I hope your doctors take good care of you and get you better right away!
I am usually pressed for time it seems and while I am at work or doing chores I am wishing I was stamping. Then by the time I finally get time to stamp I will sit and look at everything I have without a clue what to do with it! LOL! I probably THINK about stamping 22 hours a day (in my sleep too) but stamp maybe 3 hours a week.
Now I'm pregnant and so tired all the time that I haven't been cleaning or stamping. Being crabby and tired and in pain are all drains on your stamping mojo.
Yup!!! I only get the gumption when I have someone over to stamp with! That forces me to get to work. Otherwise I get the kids in bed and maybe pull something out, but after a few minutes I lose all interest and want to just veg..
Now that I am out of work, I really need to step it up and get cracking when I can...this is my only income!
