Default Escanaba Michigan, scrapbooking &/or stamping stores?

I'll be traveling to the UP in a few weeks and was wondering outside of the ones I found on the internet if there were any scrapbooking/stamping stores within the vicinity, not ones that take over 3 hours to get to like the
Northwoods Store in Calumet or the Creative Spirits Stamping in Ironwood.

TIA

No, My in-laws live in Negaunee/Marquette Area and let me tell you there is NOTHING up there. The only one that sounds good is the one in Ironwood. I have been to the one in Calumet- not much for the stamper,(like nothing) but I was somewhat impressed w/their DP selection, but really not worth the drive unless you are going up that direction.

If there is one in Marquette that is big news to me. There is however a great bead shop in Marquette, but no stamping/papercrafting store. You'd think there should be one too, but it is a difficult economic environment. They did get a Michaels a couple of yrs ago, but that is it!

Did you find this one in St Ignace? Might be a good stopping point for a break! I was there last summer and they have a good selection of stamps/supplies, plus yarn. I think they are open all year but you might want to call to be sure.

We spend our summers in the U.P. and the only store I've ever found is the one mentioned in post #5 in St. Ignace.. that place is AWESOME!

We always stop there and my kids go play putt putt golf next door while I go in the stamping store. If you go and are on U.S. 2.. be sure to stop in Brevort at Jeannies's Reach Cafe for a Pastie.. they are so yummy!
