Default Envelopes, Please

Where do you purchase your envelopes at the cheapest price? Sending cards like I do, I am looking for inexpensive ones.

Thanks, Beverly

I buy invitation envelopes from office max or office depot. I think they come in boxes of 100 for about $10

I get mine from Wal-Mart. I get 50 for less than $5.

Did you notice that Walmart went to a new size. It's a little bigger? I liked the real A2 ones better.

I noticed that about the Wal-Mart ones too, and I don't like it!

I get them thru my SU! demo. She goes to her local printer and gets them for waaaayyyy cheap. They sell her the ones that are left from printing orders that were either messed up or never picked up.

I just looked at the site and I think I generally pay around $30.00 including shipping for 1000 envelopes. I find that if I buy in bulk, it reduces the price on the envelopes AND you don't have to pay the "small order" fee.

I have even bought larger orders and went in with stamping friends to share the order.

They are definately NOT the quality of the SU! envelopes but for me, they work

http://www.clearbags.com/

I just use the serach button for...white envelopes as they have a TON of stuff on this site. Including awesome bags/boxes/packaging that generally fine their way onto my order!

I get mine from Office Depot. 100 envies for about $8. They have white and cream and I like that I don't have to wait on shipping- usually by the time I am buying them I need them right away.

I used to get them at WalMart, but the price went up so now Staples has a better deal. I think it was $8 for 100 and they are better quality than WalMart.

My sister kinda lucked out while looking at Good Will for something and came across these envelopes. They work perfectly for our handmade cards. She got all 1000 for $5. She split them with me, so I have them for quite awhile.

Good Luck!

I usually look for sets of cards with A2 envelopes at my local thrift store too! I've never found tons of them but I picked up 6 packs of cards with envelopes for .65 cents a few days ago. I usually just discard the cards - I just buy them for the envelopes.

Oh how I MISS The Paper Zone! Years ago I would always go anytime we were up in OR/WASH and could be near one. Well, we finally got one in Calif a few years ago and I loved it but they unfortunately closed. I MISS them as they had great things!

I went to Hollo's Papercraft in Brunswick, OH and got 250 A2 for $10.00. If you can get someone to pick them up for you or call them to order it is definitely worth it.

Clearbags.com is a great place as well. I would really look into a local printer or paper warehouse. You can save $$$.

Check the Dollar Stores, and maybe Walmart for boxed Christmas Cards. They are usually really, really cheap for Christmas clearance. Then you can do something else with the cards, and use the envelopes.

Last year I got several boxes for 25 cents per box, with 30 or 40 cards and envies. The cards were terrible, but the envelopes work fine for my cards.
