For those of you who own this product I was thrilled to find that there is a free app on Google play for odd sized cards. I always make odd sized cards so this item was useless to me with only 1/2" increments. You can specify your card to 1/4" and it will generate what sized paper and where to score. This was news to me. I googled Envelope Generator which was designed for the punch board and it's free. Some say it works only on an I-phone but what I found works on a tablet. I do believe there is one for an I-pad too. Someone replied to my product review and told me this. Have fun. It works!
If there is anyone out there like me - who doesn't have a smart phone or a tablet, just a computer, here is a link to the online envelope generator for the envelope punch board:
There are more of us "dinosaurs" out here than you think! Thanks for this link...much appreciated! I really like my phone that just makes and receives calls...the video and photo features have cobwebs from lack of use. I figure I'm doing really well using the Internet! Those tiny screens just don't work with my eyes..too small for me. So, again, thanks for this link, Bugga!
Thank you for the Envelope Generator link. Since I don't understand bookmarking but I have finally learned AND remember how to copy and paste--I sent the link to me in an email. What kind of a dinosaur does that make me?

That works! About your bookmarks, sometimes I can google stuff and find out how to do it on my computer. You might try that. Just type in your question, like How do I make a bookmark in....and list your browser type, i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.

Does anyone else have a problem when making several envelopes getting them ALL to be exactly the same size????? I seem to have some small variations in each one I make, usually about 1/8" to 1/4" difference. It just bugs me I cannot seem to get them all exact.
My Mom and I both have the same problem, Sue. It drives us crazy! I even bought an
8" x 8" paper pad to be sure it wasn't happening because I was cutting the paper slightly different.
Thank you Pam, I really thought I was doing something wrong, I have measured and re-measured I really noticed the difference when I tried to make 3x3 envelopes. I even went to the Envelope Generator link the ladies mentioned, same problem.
Ie...thinner paper will fold tighter on the crease. Heavy paper would have a bigger crease? Combined on all edges-that might account for this?
Just a thought.
Thanks that is a thought, I mostly use just regular copy paper, however I did buy some 70lb paper, I was told that is what envelopes are made with. I will do some experiment with that .
I watched a video once and it really helped me with my consistency on the original punch board. What I do now is measure the first side, turn it TWICE and measure the side opposite to the first one that I measured (i.e. I don't use the guide). THEN I use the guide for the remaining two sides. So, it's true! Measure twice, cut once!

Yes I watched that video also and tried that. Some stamping Friends & I played with the punch board and I have discovered scoring from the bottom to the punch knob works better for me??? I also discovered sometimes no matter what you do it will be a little tiny bit off.....
Love all the suggestions.....
