Believe it or not- I still have some Christmas Cash and I've been so good not to buy anything. I am really eye-balling the Bind-It-All. I have a coupon for Archievers and I'm so torn. Is it a good thing?? :-)
I love mine. It's great for all sorts of stuff (from binding books you print off your computer to making little mini scrapbooks for gifts), it is really easy to use, and the SU spiral punch fits into the bindings. Well worth the money for me given the use I've had of it!
I have a strange question ... I found a full-sized comb binding machine at a thrift store for next to nothing. It punches rectangular holes. Would it work with the coils for the Bind-It-All? (Anyone have measurements?) Also, where is the best/cheapest place to buy these coils?

I'm also tossing the idea around of getting a BIA. Can you ladies start a list of what it can make? I love the looks of the covers I've seen, but what all can go INSIDE?
Oh YAY! I did my first mini-project! Well, started it at least! Cut the covers, punched and bound it for a post-it-note holder! I still need to embellish it. This is going to be so much fun though--my mind is spinning with all the ideas!

You can punch through CD's, chipboard, etc. to make your covers.
It's a pretty impressive gizmo. I like using it to make desktop calendars, tag booklets, wonky journals for my daughter--I'm hoping to make a recipe book filled with some of our family's most popular Filipino dishes--she loves to cook.

I too was very intrigued with the Bind It All. At the rubber stamp convention last summer I tried it and thought it was great. My only drawback was that it was made in China. I ended up not purchasing it. (I have been trying not to purchase anything made in China unless I am given no other choice - ie: new tv, dvd, etc). At this point I am just using book rings for my projects.
