Louise, I am truly sorry for the sadness you are experiencing. What an extremely difficult time for you. I, with others, am very grateful that you are loving and caring for your friend. I can attest to the fact that there are people who didn't post to your original thread, but sent a card to Jennifer.
I agree with what others have already stated. SCS is an escape for me from a lot of worry and sadness in my life. My dear sweet mother is deteriorating rapidly and there is nothing I can do, but call her several times a day, just to try and keep her mind active, and to let her know that I love her. It is so painful to be so far away and not be able to just go and stay with her, but circumstances don't allow that, so I have to be content with 900 roundtrip mile visits every few weeks.
When I visit SCS, either to lurk, or to post something, it doesn't lessen my love for my mother, or mean that I don't care about her, or for others in the community and world that suffer. It helps me to re-charge, so I can face life again.
I am truly sorry that your feelings have been hurt. Please believe that this is a community that is just as passionate about caring for and helping others as it is about "catching the bad guys."
May you and Jennifer both feel calm and loved through this very, very difficult time.

Back in October I purchased something from ebay before I knew what I know now. The seller sent me a Winter Mini yesterday. I sent the information to SU with all the information I had.
Louise don't worry about it. We totally understand where you are coming from and the emotions you are going through.
NOTHING to forgive! We are all a bunch of bighearted stampers and we know you were just going thru some difficult and emotional moments! Sincerest thoughts and prayers for you and your friend during this stressful time! Hoping she is getting the warm fuzzies from her overflowing mailbox!!
It was obvious from your post that you were just drained! I can't imagine what you are going through, taking care of, and being there for your friend. But, we are YOUR friends!
I think we have all "lost" it occassionally on posts....well, um, just a little! :oops:
I hope all the cards can bring her some peace.... and I hope you can find some time to take care of yourself too!
