Default Dormant list...

I just came across something on the SU! site, but didn't see anything posted on the boards. Have you noticed SU! has a "dormant list" posted? They say:

See the US list here.

I wonder what the point of that would be? If we can't see them, we're not likely to buy them....seems strange.

If the catty coming out in July is suppose to be geared toward fall/winter/holidays maybe they are leaving these out because they would be geared toward the spring/summer/holidays thus would normally be in the January catty?

Just a theory.

I don't know if this is anything like it, but CTMH has stamps for sell that are not in the current seasons catalog. Say Christmas stamps are sometimes not in the summer catty, but are still availble. Hope this makes sense.

I assumed that holiday sets and definite seasonal sets would be in the category of this list. We''ll have to keep track of future listings.

You will still be able to see ALL available sets on the SU! website, just not in the catty. As someone said about CTMH,they have sets that are still available and not in their catty as well. By having two catties each year that are still the same size as the one we have now, and having some sets not in it - i.e., no Christmas in spring/summer issue, it allows for more spring/summer type sets, and the same for fall/winter... taking the flowery sets out and putting winter/holiday sets in, but like I said, *all* sets will be available to view on the catty online.

FYI the new catty's won't be the same size as what we have now - they'll be 20% smaller (I heard around 200 pages each) - and with all the sets that are retiring plus this "dormant" list - there's gonna be a ton of new stuff in them!

And yes - the dormant list is just that - items that ARE current but just won't be in the Fall/Winter Collection - you will be able to order them and they are "supposed" to be in the Spring/Sumer Collection.

Looking at the list, only 4 are sets, the other 8 are wheels, a few of which coordinate with sets that are retiring.

So, just so I'm clear, the new cattie in July will be the Fall/Winter version, and the January catty will be the Spring/Summer version? I guess when we'll be sweating through the summer looking at the Fall/Winter cattiymay help us feel cool and likewise with the Spring/Summer catty in the middle of winter.

Designer Series papers, punches, and other items from the back of the catty will be on the accessories list due to be released to demos on June 20th.
