I would love some different pattern ribbons, like the chatterbox ones.
Would also like textured cardstock- it's my favorite too!
Other than that I'm not really sure...I'll have to think about it some more!

Oh... some actual idea books, quarterly that use current catalog stamp sets would be awesome. The little flyers never have enough examples for me. I'm an idea book junkie!

I guess I am in the minority that doesn't get all excited about textured cardstock. Mainly because I like to stamp on the colored SU c/s for backgrounds (tone on tone or with Versamark) and can't do that with the textured c/s as well.
I do wish they carried more albums that were nonlinen, i.e. more leather or simulated leather. I am not ultra excited about a linen album because I really liked the ability to wipe off stuff off of them, a little more waterproof (and I don't care for those clear plastic covers either). I LIKE the linen, it is pretty, but so not practical for me. I cried the other day when I decided to get another pecan leather SU album and alas it was GONE!! Didn't even pick up on that when I got the new catty.
I also wish they had more kid stuff. My DD loves to stamp and so I have a few stamp sets for her but seems like they used to have so many more stuff for kids to do, and all we have now are the tattoo markers (which sorry, my kid doesn't need any more incentive to write on herself, LOL) and the stampin markers/ink pads which she already has.
glad I'm not the only one with the textured cardstock...I would like some more kids stuff too..I've done kids parties and if we had more than the tatoo sets then it would be much easier to plan them...
I am a complete ribbon *****...so I have tons of off brand ribbon...but I can't use it on my stuff that I show customers since we don't sell it....aaaaarrrrrhhhhh
I don't have any of the SU! albums...but I'm not hot on linen either so I can understand that frustration...
I LOVE the Bazzill CS for scrapbooks, but for cards the smooth looks better IMHO. I have TONS of Bazzill and I never use it for cards LOL.
I would like to see them carry Mono Multi, Grosgrain in all 54 colors, keep the "In Colors" forever ;) , more color choices for the gingham ribbon, more patterned paper packs each year, etc...
I'd LOVE to see another "Happy Anniversary" stamp! Right now SU offers only *one*, in AYC III. There are too many other stamps in that set that I wouldn't use for me to justify buying that set.
I'm with ya' on the grosgrain ribbon! And I'd like to see more hardware (hodgepodge) available by itself - I don't want to have to order the whole set to replace the pieces I use the most!
I do love textured cardstock, too. maybe if SU sold it in small packs, like the 1/2 page Bazzill trios???
Flowers (like prima) and leaves - embellishments like that. Wouldn't it be cool if you could get combo packs in all of the SU colors?!?!?
Someone should mail this thread to SU! headquarters!! Maybe if we keep at it, they will consider some of your ideas, which I think are fantastic. I'd love to see ribbon in all colors as well, permanent In Colors with the markers available, separate hardware pieces, prima flowers, etc in SU! colors, continue with their stamp sets, but also off separate stamps in a misc. area of the catty (perhaps some of these could be coordinated to be useable with the sets). Pearl-ex in SU! colors!! Twinkling H2Os in SU! Colors!
Would love love love all the colors in grosgrain ribbon!!!!
As far as the "In Colors" Wouldn't it be cool if you can return your used ink pads at the end of the year and get a discount on the new "In Colors" for the next year?!?
I'm for the Mono Multi and all the colors of grosgrain ribbons. And the textured paper! OH MY! I hoard the stuff tho. I use to belong to Club Scrap and LOVED being surprised every month, but I can't make myself use the stuff! It is too gorgeous!

I wish SU made color kits... Where for a slight discount from the individual prices you could get the pad/reinker/paper/and Pen all together.
I would deffinately pick up a few a month until I had them all.
I like the idea of having embellishment kits in each color too like the pima flowers, eyelets, ribbon, chipboard accents etc. The Chatterbox kits like that are so fun and funky.
It would be nice to have a few more sets that are Sympathy/Kwanza/Easter etc. related and a few less FLOWERS. I love floral stamps but it seems like more and more of the other stuff is being phased out and 2/3 of the catalog is flowers.
Stamp Spots of the In Color series would ROCK. They would be nice and easy to store...I love those little stamp spots pads!

I really, really like the textured paper and certainly wished that I could get it from SU, but HL makes a good profit from me right now! I also agree about them carrying some more individual stamps that would work with some of the sets.....Love their stuff!

If you stamp on textured with versamark then lightly sand it, the image pops! It's really cool - like magic, lol! Would be great to do with kids.

I agree completely! I'd buy a couple per month, too. I'm a supply junkie, but I do use each thing I buy. Just don't tell my dh how much I buy or what it costs!
I dont get that excited over textured cardstock, and I personally dont like the white core.. I love SU cardstock and love how high quality it is.. I guess if they were to do textured I would like it to not have a white core
Ya know... Close to my Heart makes textured cs in their colors (some are very similar to SU!'s) with a white core, and they also have paper flowers like Prima, and ribbon with lots of different types of patterns... Personally, I wish CTMH made chipboard in the different shapes and sizes like SU! does... Guess we are lucky that we can get all sorts of goodies from lots of different sources, kwim? ;)
I'm with pigfingers. Don't like textured cs. Not a bazill adict either. Sorry. I know lots love them but not I. I like stamping on them & don't feel I get a good enough image.
Would like patterned paper but not in sets. There's always one or two I like and then I have this stack of "stuff" left over. JMHO

I guess I'm in the minority right along with ya'. I bought some and discovered that the only way I can use it effectively, is by not stampign on it at all, so I'm glad I only bought a few sheets, as opposed to gobs of it. It's very pretty, but hasn't been a paper I consider very versatile for me.

This made me chuckle, remembering when my own were little . . .
I wonder if it'd be worth their while to bring in some foam mounted children's sets? There are some sets from the past I recall that parents purchased in droves--now some of these elusive sets are being sought after on Ebay . . .

I am not a fan of textured cardstock either, but I would love to have the hardware sold individually by type in packages. I always use the brads before I finish the rest of the box. I'd love to be able to buy more.

YES, more "Happy Anniversary" stamps!! No variety here at all to make cards. The one SU has is large & does not allow for any variety in size, fonts, etc. They are even hard to find from other companies.
I'm not fond of textured cardstock either. My budget is STRETCHED as it is!!
As far as not having markers in the In Colors. My SU demo showed us how to "make our own". Purchase the pkg. of 3 blender pens, put 4 to 6 drops of ink from re-inkers on point & you have your 6 In Color markers. Will only have the large end. I tried it & it works. My demo made labels for us, put on marker length wise & cover with pkg. tape.
Would also like a larger tag punch to go with the one we now have.

Thanks for the info. Might cost a little more, but will work! Guess the reinkers are on my next order!

I was a demonstrator during the time when SU sold sets in both Rubber & wood. I HATED the rubber ones and any customer who bought them was not satisfied either. I would sell them but would not encourage them to buy rubber. You have that "catching" on the 4 corners that I hated. Glad they went to all wood.
I do wish they'd bring back some of the old favorites.
In fact, I was a demonstrator when they had other companies stamps.

I agree that I personally wouldn't want sets in foam, but if we're talking sets for use specifically by children, it would seem to me an economically viable way to offer products geared to them? As a parent, I'd be more likely to invest in those for my kids to use, than I would WM, but, mebbe that's just me . . .

wow...who knew there were so many textured cardstock haters ??
coming from scrapbooking to cardmaking textured cardstock is like the "holy grail" of scrapbooking...everyone who comes out with anything is about texture and feel...but in cardmaking it is a whole 'nother world of things that are popular....so many things to get used to...
I know that there are companies out there that have the items that I want....but if I want to use it in a workshop it has to be made by SU! so I am selfishly wanting them to make some things that they don't currently have...
The cardstock we currently carry is of great quailty...that wasn't even a question....
I hope SU comes out with more round stamp sets like he riveting set.Something for all the holidays.by more individualy.Like a christmas set with santa, some saying to go with it.but round.these are so in.and I love them just want the words to be able to be read more easily like the riveting set.The circle of friendship is too hard to really see the words the need a bolder letter to see better.

I agree...textured cardstock with the SU quality. I love Bazzill, but now I find it a bit flimsey...unless I use it in layering. (I also think SU should have more textured ribbon...love the stuff in the winter mini...wish you got more than 10 yards (2 yards each) for $9.95--but I bought it anyway). I love the pricing on the grosgrain ribbon...wish they would come out with more options with more yardage.
if you want markers in the inn colors .heres a tip to get them.Buy blender pens.add the incolor reinker to it by adding a couple drops on the tip of each end of the blender pen adn wahhlaa you have the in color markers now.My demo did this last month in front of us while we were there and then wrote on paper there were just like writing with a regular marker.

I'd love to see grosgrain ribbon in ALL of SU's colors. Hmm...what else? Ooh, like Duffgirl said, more adhesive options (since I won't use the Snail adhesive). I had another idea but can't remember... Oh well!
more emellishments would be nice, especially ribbon.... they need a polka dotted ribbon for sure! More coluzzle templates would be nice. Giga & Mega clever lever punches would be awesome. And MORE stamp sets. :-) I am almost at the end of my wish list and I have to live with this catalogue until next July.
