I hope you don't mind me asking a question. I was wondering how they pick who they are making albums for. Is it for locals in your area? The reason I ask is because my son is a sophmore in high school and one of his team mates on the basketball team has Hodkins Lymphoma and did his Make A Wish wish. I thought it would be awesome for him to get one but I don't know how this works.

Im in a color exchange coming up......when I go shopping for that person, I will make sure I look for things make a wish could use. Great idea.....just hope you have a truck to haul all this in August.

your local Make A Wish office is given the pictures taken by the Make A Wish people. It usually takes 6-8 weeks after they receive the pictures for them to get an album (I am not sure how long it takes for them to get the pictures though)
I hope your son's friend had a good time on his wish! Where did he go?

okie dokie, I'll just keep it for awhile longer then. It's just sitting open in the corner of my room and when I come across stuff I think they might use, I pop it in there!

That's what I am doing too. Everytime I clean something out, I find more stuff I am not using so I toss it into a box.

exactly! I just got a sampler from a certain company of different memory markers and pens - is that something they would use? I don't scrap much so I don't think I really need them.

they would! they get together & crop every month at the Make A Wish office so they will keep those kind of supplies in their office for the gals to use.

I am completely blown away at how generous you all have been. I have opened the packages as I get them to sneak a peak at stuff. I decided this evening to organize all I have received so far. We have officially filled up a giant rubbermaid tote! I will have to get a 2nd tote out when I get more donations! You are all so wonderful for doing this and thank you so much!

Oh my gosh, I just came across your thread. I am in Nebraska too. I am going to get in touch with a bunch of my club gals and SU friends here and I will see what all they have. Can I get in touch with you when I get them all gathered and just drop them off to you when I am in Omaha next? This is just wonderful. My sister had leukemia and I have worked with several students that have had wishes made possible by Make a Wish! It is an absolutely WONDERFUL organization.

I have notified all my scrappin' friends and we are all going to go through our things to make a box for you. I told them to have it all to me by June 30th, so I can mail it very soon afterwards. My 12 year old daughter went through her things, too and found several Disney stickers to donate, I was proud of her! Just letting you know I haven't mailed mine yet, LOL!
