I saw a great way to get them round!
Use a dowl (sp?) to wrap the wire around. I used a pencil, but you probably need a larger diameter to get the effect on the card.
That wire looks thick. Go with a smaller gauge wire - it's larger (22 rather than 26) and you should get a similar look.
I found some really nice ones at Target in the business supply area. I think you get 50 for $2.99. They're copper, antique color and I can't remember if there is a 3rd color. They're really nice. I had a great idea for wire once. Screwed it up royally and haven't touched the wire again.
Try wrapping the wire around a cone shaped object, I've use a cake decorating tip. That way you get graduated circles instead of the same size circles you get when you wrap around a pencil or dowel.

There is actually a really neat tool that helps you work your wire without getting little kinks in it that interupt the smooth flor of a circle...let me do a little search and get back to ya!
I know that the craft store "Michael's" sells a kit or single tools for wire. It is found either in the scrapping section or the jewellery making sections as wire is used in both. Not sure if "Michael's" is a chain in US but I am sure you have your own large crafts stores. Check them out.

I'd like to know too, allidee! I have the Purple wire grid but it isn't very easy to use.

still looking for somewhere online that has a picture of the dang thing!
It looks similar to a handheld punch...but instead of having a punch at the end it is just plain and flat...same shape as the punch but covered in rubber like the grip of the punch...still looking...
I just made some small ones for a mother's day card. I used my pointed tweezers to start the center then wrapped the wire around the the tweezers. The way the tweezers are tappered it coiled perfect, then just flattened it out with my fingers. I have also used needle nose pliers for longer, thicker wire. I imagine you could use a quilling or beading tools. As long as you can get the center started the wire can easily be coiled with just your fingers.
