Default does anyone know if SU makes...........

an embossing powder that is the color Night of Navy?

I am trying to finish a card. I already tried stamping with Versa Mark, then stamping the navy classic stamp pad........then putting clear powder over it............but it looks terrible.

I don't think SU makes a navy embossing powder. You would be better off getting a "craft" pad in Night of Navy and then embossing in clear. The classic pad is dye ink which dries too fast to emboss. HTH!

Could you stamp your image in Night of Navy then go over it with the Versamarker the emboss?

Embossing in clear over the Navy CRAFT ink looks fabulous -- just like if you had used navy powder, with a nice rich color, but SHINIER!

If you only have the classic Night of Navy ink pad, you can stamp in Versmark first then stamp in Night of Navy directly on top of the Versamark. Then stamp on cardstock and emboss with clear powder.

I tried the Night of Navy craft ink last year for doing this and the color is not the same. I bought some navy embossing powder at the store--even worse! I ended up doing what you are doing--Versamark then Night of Navy classic, then clear embossing powder because I really needed the color to match the paper. I thought it turned out pretty well, but it was very time consuming since I was doing this for my xmas cards and had to clean the stamp every time before I reinked it.

I would also say Navy craft ink and clear EP. I have done this with other colors and it works beautifully.
