Default Does anyone have a Xyron Uses tip sheet?

I got a Xyron 510 for Christmas and am trying to figure out uses for it. I know there has been a lot of discussion on this site about the great uses. I did a search in the forums for xyron posts and found a bunch of ideas; like glitter, vellum and dryer sheets. I was just wondering if there is a compiled list anywere. If not, let's put them all here and I'll compile a tip sheet.

Thanks for your help!!

I'd love a tip sheet too. I'm embarrassed to say I've hardly ever used my Xyron 900. I'm easily intimidated by gadgets.

Woo hoo! I got mine too! I already made picture magnets for my son. He had to have a magnet of him with his deer for his locker at school.
If you stamp an image, then run it through your xyron so that it will make the image sticky, (not the back) then you pour dazzling diamonds glitter over it.
The glitter will stick to the front of the image. I did a snowman with the woodcuts set and then ran it through the xyron again on the back and used it as a glittery sticker on the back of a Christmas card envelope! I also used it to make the cans everyone is making. Just stamp the paper you want on the can and run it through the xyron. Wala it sticks to the can beautifully.
Can you tell I am having fun with it already?

I got one, too! I already have the 850, but needed a smaller one for transporting to classes/workshops.

I wonder if the Xyron site itself has a tips/uses page? Worth checking into . . .

Here's one a google turned up:

I just went to the gallery and typed in "xyron" to see what would come up--wow! There are lots of ideas to try right here on SCS.

Well, I guess no one has a tip sheet so please post your favorite ways to use the Xyron and I'll compile them and make a tip sheet.

So far I have:
- stamp on acetate with StazOn and run it through the xyron. Add Pearl Ex for shimmer
- stamp on card stock (color), run through xyron image-side down and lay dryer sheet on top of image
- run any type of image through xyron (image-side down) and add glitter

Of course there are the obvious make stickers and magnets, but I'm looking for more specific techniques.

Please add to the list.
Thanks,
Merrie Burruss
