I usually write on the inside, but I tend to use a sentiment stamp on the outside, too. Occasionally, I will stamp a sentiment on the inside, but that's usually just on sympathy cards or birthday greetings for people I don't know very well.
I always write it.I think it makes the card even more special,... If you have to make a lot of them then i would be more sensible to print or stamp on the inside.
I usually stamp the sentement on the inside, my handwriting is not very good so I think that the stamped sentiment is nicer and then I just sign my name. If it is for someone really special I do sometimes write a little note but they are usually people that can read my writing.
I usually print, unless I'm in a hurry and then I'll just hand write it. I just think that the printing looks so much better than my nasty handwriting.
I usually try to stamp something, if I have an appropriate stamp. I sometimes type something, run it off and glue it in. I almost always add a personal note, even if it's only a single line.
Since my handwriting is poor, I either use a stamp (if I have an appropriate one) of I computer generate something special (a poem or a sentiment). Hope that helps.

I usually end up writing (with a sentiment stamped on the front of the card), mainly because of time. My printer is finicky, and it can be a big hassle trying to get something to print cleanly and with even/true color. However, when I have the time/patience, I do like the look of having a nice printed sentiment on the inside - it can make a card look a little more finished, especially for those recipients who may not always have the same appreciation for "handmade" that we do, KWIM?
I usually try to stamp a sentiment on the inside also. If I do not have one that works - I will print something from my computer. I always add a handwritten note as well - for the personal touch.
I stamp inside. I write inside. I print inside. I run the card through the printer before stamping, especially sympathy cards. It really depends on the card and what the occasion is.
I usually print something on the computer and then cut it out and glue it in the card. Many times I tell the person they can remove the inside and reuse the card by making another 'inside'. I love playing with all the cool fonts. I tried one a couple of years ago where you could download and write each of your letters in a box then upload it or fax it and they made a personalized font of YOUR handwriting. It was pretty cool-except it didn't look very good! I wonder if they have ever improved that process. Anyone know?
I generally stamp a sentiment on the inside of my cards, but if I can't find the right sentiment I have been known to print an appropriate message myself.
Sometimes I stamp a sentiment. But it it's on the outside, like Happy Birthday, then I'd just handwrite it again on the inside.
Except for selling, then I might do a printed or stamped insert sometimes.
There is a strong trend over here for *presonalised* cards where the card-maker prints , say *to dear Aunt Maggie on her 80th Birthday* and * with love from Donald and Susan* and puts them on the front. Sorry, to me that is not personal. It may be personalised, but it's with great reluctance that I do it for one single person who buys from me, not for anybody else.
If that's printed on the front, what on earth do they write on the inside??
It depends on how I made the card and if I own the sentiment I`d like to use. If I haven`t it, I write it. Is it a time consuming card, I tend to stamp the sentiment. Another reason for writing could be limited space inside the card.
I usually write on the inside of my cards, too. The sentiment is usually on the front like others have mentioned. Embrace your handwritting!! Some day, your family may thank you for it. The letters I have from my grandmother are priceless.
