I like the alternating green and turquoise buckets in the second link you listed. I wonder where she got them from... I could not imagine how one could USE all the things those women "stock" in their craft room! Thanks for posting the links.

Wow! Those are amazing. I think some of those ladies have more money invested in their scrapbooking/stamping things than we have in our entire house!!! Just crazy. How can you use all of that stuff?

Oh, I think that is fantastic, she has been scrapbooking since 1997, she deserves that and more, good for her. She will utilize everything in that room because its so darn organized. She has wonderful organizational skills, I admire that. Wonder what size of room that is? Thanks Carrie for showing us, I could look at rooms like that all day long.

The little buckets were in Target's dollar spot last spring. I have two, one of each color. I will NOT count hers, I will NOT count hers, I will NOT...
I'm thinking this room is great...but not for someone like me. (Not sour grapes) ... If I had a room like that, I would feel compelled to live in it 24/7 whether I felt creative or not, to justify the expense of it all. I'm content with my little stamping corner of the world...it suits my needs and most of my wants.
Different strokes, I guess. My hubby thinks the killer room is insane, but he hasn't felt the pleasure of a wood mount in his hands ; )
It is a nice room, though, no doubt about it.

I've come to the conclusion that we, as stampers/scrappers, don't necessarily want the most fantastic room/studio--what we REALLY want is a fantastic studio/STORE. With all the goodies our little hearts desire, and enough space to use them. Hubby says I could open a store in my room--and he's probably right.
But that's what I think we all want--our own private store!

Holy Craftola!!! I want that room. I'm in the beginning stages of redoing my room, maybe I should just hire her to come and do it. Wish I had that much room!!!
Even if I had that much room and all the organizational items, my room would never look like that!
Oh, am I ever glad you said this. I have that much room and believe me it does not look like that. Sadly, I am soooo unorganized, but you made me feel a lot better.
I agree the rooms are amazing, I especially love the first one. Some of the organizing ideas are wonderful! I just can't get over the sheer amount of money invested in a) the furnishings/ organizing tools and b) the all of the "stuff" being organized. I think I could furnish our whole home for what is invested in one of these fancy rooms.
It's wonderful if you can afford it, but I'd hate to see the debt incurred by it all! (am I the only one who was mentally adding up what some of the things cost in these rooms?)
Boy next time my hubby thinks I spend a little to much on my stamp and scrap stuff, I'm taking him on a virtual tour!;)

I think all the rooms are beautiful! I knew as soon as I saw this thread there were links from 2Peas . . . scrap rooms are a hot topic over there.
I never get why the first thought is the amount of $$ that went into these rooms or why they must have gone into debt to do it. We all KNOW this is not a cheap hobbie -- our supplies need/deserve a good storage area. I can honestly say that I've not gone into debt to create my room or the amount of supplies I have and yeah, my room most definitely looks like I have my own store and I LOVE it. I say good for each of these gals -- enjoy your space!!
My DH designs/builds cabinets for a living (right now that is), and I hope that once we get our music studio up and running that he'll build me my dream craft studio. I can only imagine what this cost, but I know it's affordable if you design/build it yourself. :runs to dig out the table saw and power tools:
If they are used- then I wonder how long these rooms will look like this! Honestly howeverr much I try and organise my stuff, at the end of a craft session my room always looks like a blitz bomb landed in the room and I didn't notice. I always seem to find when I want to craft I need to tidy, and when I need to tidy I get dragged into making something!
One room owner has a book on organising and said she took a class on organising her creative space- which suggests she is a lot like me. It's the dyslexic in me that makes me creative messy and a poor writer- that's what I tell my husband anyway! But no way could I do what she has.
Wow ~ I hadn't even looked at the other links ~~ I love the turquoise & green buckets ~~ & did you see how she labeled everything? Yikes ~ I wonder how long that took her!!!
WOW- I can't imagine having all that space. I mean...it truthfully looks only a little smaller than my WHOLE house. My house is 5 rooms. So, trying to do that is impossible.
What a wonderful thing to have the oppotunity, means and motivation to do it. Jealous...YES I AM!!!! But do I really think I could keep it looking that good??? Hmmm, will have to think on that.
