For anyone out there with swirling stars..do you love it? I just had a party and didn't order...am regretting it. Should I call my demo and place an order? What ink cartridges color did you get??
I just ordered; but I DO love that wheel. Hopefully, it's not still on back-order. Not sure what color I'll use it most with - I have a few of the cartridges so we'll see what looks best. I'm guessing a shade of blue or silver or gold embossed.
I love it! We just used it at a workshop this week to make Christmas cards. I also used it on a white box I found at Michael's for 99 cents. It's like the old school boxes we use to have when I was elementary that have a flip-up lid. I used the jumbo wheel to decorate the outside edges which the jumbo wheel fit perfectly. I used it as a free drawing box for door prize entry forms. I also used it with Baroque Burgundy.
I'm with Camsmom. It's the first, and so far only, jumbo wheel I've bought and I do love it! I only have the ballet blue wheel, but also bought a blank cartridge so I could make a versamark cartridge for it. Use it for backgrounds all the time.
I didn't buy the matching set, and am sort of kicking myself now. But will get it if it's in next year's catty. (I'm a demo and hate to buy things I can't demo all year.)
Thanks Benniesma! Wow, I love the pink card by Mary Brown. I own the wheel (prefer the jumbo wheels to the smaller ones) and also the matching set. I would never have thought to use pink. Love the idea!
Wow, that is a really pretty card! Do you know what she used to make it? Embossing stacks?
Could be wrong, but my guess after one quick glance at it, is that she wheeled Pretty in Pink, embossed with Heat n' Stick powder, then applied Dazzling diamond over the top and heat set.
Maybe . . .

Benniesma, I think you can still purchase the matching stamp set to this wheel through November. I am almost certain this will be in next year's catty, I learned right here on SCS that SU usually puts stamp sets with matching wheels in the catty and this one has three matching wheels to it! I must admit it is the first jumbo wheel to tempt me, too!
BTW, I adore Mary Brown's work! Thanks for the link to that gorgeous card! Can we get her to join SCS?
Thanks to all of you...esp. Benniesma. That card by Mary Brown sealed the deal. I too would have never thought of pink (I was thinking great for July 4th etc.-but the pink is gorgeous!. It's a must now.
Gosh darnit, I think y'all just convinced me to get it too! I really liked it but wasn't ready to buy a jumbo wheel since I have to get the jumbo handle and jumbo cartridges.....but, that card by Mary Brown is too cute! You guys got me all excited about this one again...guess I know what I'm buying in a couple of weeks!
