Default Do any of you . . .

Do any of you have the SAB set Two Terrific Tags and use it without the punch? Is is easy enough to just cut around the edges for those of us who do not own the punch yet.

Thank you,

I have Too Terrific Tags w/o the punch. Here's a link to a card I made by cutting around it. The punch would be much easier but I didn't like many of the included stamps and couldn't justify the money for the set.

I've used them both ways and don't mind the cutting out at all. The stamps are so cute - I say, Get them!

I dont ever use the punch to do the stamped image, I just use it for the colored background piece. There isnt any reason you couldnt cut the stamped image, glue it on colored CS and then trim.

I have the set and the punch. I cut out the stamped image and use the punch for the colored background. I have used it both ways. I really like it both ways!!!

I think the punch helps a lot if you want to leave an even border around the tag image. It's not necessary, though! It's pretty much straight cutting, so if you can do that (I don't always, lol) you should be fine.

I don't have the punch and have no problems cutting around the stamped image. It's not bad.

I don't have the punch either. I will sometimes use my sister's punch, but she lives 2.5 hours away, so that doesn't always work. I've used precut tags from hers as a template, and that works well too.

I have the Too Terrific Tags set on order and i'm not going to buy the punch unless it makes it to the new catalog and we can buy just the punch...
I used the set at the last stampin up party i went to and it is very easy to just cut them out.

Very easy to cut around the tag stamps without the punch. You have to cut freehand anyway if you're going to layer onto another color. I do like the punch for using on solid c.s as previously stated. Also useful for making tags of all different lengths.

I've done what stamper1996 does. Use a template of the punch. Or just trim around the image. It's a small tag and easily done.

And like Jurusha220, I will (maybe) buy the punch if it comes out in the catty separately.

And I agree with Kathy S., even if you have the punch you have to free hand cut around the image to make a mat.
