Totally amazing displays--yards and yards of the best cards you can imagine! I have so many ideas to go home and make, it would seriously take me a year to create half of these amazing things. I can't believe these are NOT the ones that won the contests! They are so incredible.
Of course I might be slightly giddy about the displays this year because I have seven items up there! :-D I'm SO glad now that I made that New Year's resolution to turn in more entries for contests--even if they didn't win.
I don't have the capability here to post pictures of the display boards--but hopefully someone will! I know you SCS'ers are here--I see you in your shirts!

Glad that you like the boards! If you look in the convention book it tells who put them together. My name is there but it is really all the wonderful stamping that makes them so great!
How exciting to have so many of yours up on the boards. I can't wait until next week when I get to see them all put together!
There seems to be fewer than last year, and sadly, a LOT of retired stuff. Don't get me wrong, still nice work, but last year's seemed to go on forever. I feel like there is about a quarter of last year's displays.

SU has a long list of reasons to have convention in SLC and the cost of transporting all the samples and displays is near the top of the list. They can only ship so much stuff, I guess.
Mary Beth
There are as many boards as last year. And the samples are all beautiful. I wish that the choices for more that was not retiring were more but because the list was so dang long we used all the best cards.
There is no way of know in who did what cards. All that info is on the back of the cards and they are attached to the boards. Sorry.
Oh I know why it doesn't seem like as many boards. The Make and take boards are in the different area unlike last year where they were right in with the other boards. Keep watching you will see more boards around the center.
Melissa, There are 40 two sided boards. With 8 grids and then there are 8 - 2 sided boards with 2 grids. I am not sure where they are all located. Last year they were all in the lunch area I won't know until next week when I see them IRL
Woo Hoo they put two of my items that I turned in last year. They are a Bubble Queen nightlight and a Bubble Queen door tag that says "do not disturb". I was so excited when I saw them there!

Ooh, Jennifer, I SAW those, i think! I love Bubble Queen so I was looking for it. VERY cute.
I love how they are arranged by colors. Have they always done that? I don't remember the one regional I have been to...
Yep, lots and lots and LOTS of retired sets on those boards... :o I miss those sets so bad! Some truly fabulous ideas for other sets, however.
I went back and counted and I think I had six items displayed, not seven. I apologize for misleading! I snuck my hubby in to see them today :-D Since he;'s in both of the scrapbook pages, it only seemed fair!

Jenn, I loved those samples! Which ones are yours Jennifer?
At regionals they don't always put them together by color but they do this for convention. We try to do 10 of each color family. I am on idea overload! Way too many to process. LOL
Betsy, You are so cute. It is great here. Just be sure to come and visit at least once a year. If you do move here they have 5 demos do the boards. It is only for about 6 weeks but 6 glorious weeks of fun!!!!

I want to personally thank you for working on the boards! I don't know how you choose which ones to put up, but I'm very thankful mine made it up there!

My sister also worked on the boards. She did an Americana board, a wedding one, and a baby one, among others. Not sure which colors exactly, but she did a good job!
Congrats to everyone who got cards and projects up on the boards! They really do look fabulous.
Thanks for liking the boards! Like I said we just put the velcro on the backs and arrange them it is the great art work that makes them so wonderful.
we all had a great time working on them, Oh, and all the stamps that you guys are using in make and takes and the color your world class. We got to cut those out too. Makes my hand ache to think about.
Jess did a great job on the ones she did and I don't even remember the ones I did.
Thank you to "Stamping with Chrissie" I was going through your day 2 pictures, and I about died! On page 219 there is a 6x6 using "Loads of Love" and there is the most adorable boxer, named Sophie, I was so excited that one of my 6x6's made it, and everyone gets to see my Sophie!!
Thanks to whoever put it on! (Old olive board) The boards look great from way over in Chicagoland!!
Location: I don't stamp, I just talk about stamping on the internet!

I found two of my cards on the boards. That was really cool seeing them there. Now I know for sure that they got my "Convention Stamper" entry. LOL! I never knew that local to SLC demos got to make them up. Lucky!

It is one of the funnest parts of my whole year. It is fun to be with all the people at the office and see all the great samples that everyone sends in.
Chrissie,
Thanks so much for posting the pictures. I found two of my scrapbook pages on the board!! It was cool seeing them.

OK, I have looked and looked.... where's Chrissie's pics located? I am buggin' out trying to find them to no avail! Congrats to those who have made projects displayed- that must be the ultimate compliment!

Hi Kristin! My pictures are on my website. I will PM you since I can't include the information here on SCS.
I saw two of my convention display stamper entries on the boards too...very exciting! If I couldn't be a display stamper, this was the next best thing! :-)

I understand what you guys are saying, I was walking along the boards enroute to Main Stage and saw a card that looked just like one of mine. Stopped to take a lot and it WAS!!! Yes....what a treat! I saw at least two cards I had dropped in the "Swap With SU" basket at REgionals in STL (both done with Viola!), one on the Artichoke board and one on the Real Red board. He was holding a giant pumpkin from Sew Seasonal on the tray for one of them and had orange Halloween DP photo corners, in the other he was holding a red shoe and the sentiment "If the shoe fits, buy one in every color". They never made it onto Stamper's Showcase but at least I made the display boards. Too fun! And yes, I took pictures of the board AND photos of me pointing at them! Jan
