I'm wondering if we should also post this question on the general side? There's quite a few dirty girls (past and present) that are not SU demo's presently (and I want to know what they're getting too).
Linda
JulieHRR, SweetMissDaisy, Mona Lisa -- none of them are demos! Can't remember the rest off the top of my head.

So no edit button -- aaarrrrgggg! I wasn't going to say this is a very good idea!

They may not be getting anything yet if they are not demos..... no samples to make in a hurry.

is this the fanclub thing i'm ment to be looking at? id like to join but wasn't sure if this was the right thing?
I'm not a demo, but I did stay at a holiday Inn! Just kidding, but I did go to an open house friday night and placed about 250.00 worth of an order from the new book!
I bought:
Big On Christmas
Violia to Go
Boatloads of Love
Moose YOU and Whale Wishes
Dog Gone It
Winds of Grace
It's All Good
Define Your Life
Plus lots of new paper, ink and some new puches.
I tend to buy alot at the beginning of the new catty season because I've saved up just for that.
Can't wait to play with my new stuff!
For the first time in 6 years, I am underwhelmed. The accessories and papers I LOVE, but I am struggling with stamp set decisions.
Oh my gosh, *underwhelmed* -- TOO FUNNY!!! I am *overwhelmed* -- totally overwhelmed!!! Now, I absolutely LOVE every single thing you produce, and to think your opinion of the new stamps is so different than mine -- now I'm going to be really watching to see what you buy and what you do with it -- LOL!!!
Wow, how much money do you spend?? My DH would KILL me if I got all of that stuff. Do we get a discount if we purchase a certain amount out of the catalog right away? I am new at this so give me the scoop ladies!!
Yes, the money issue can be overwhelming -- I totally can relate. This is my first new catty as a demo -- I signed up last year July 1 and got the starter kit. But after being a demo for a bit, you build up money in your account, and that's what pays for this -- so DH doesn't even realize what is going on -- it's for your business -- you have to have this stuff to sell it -- isn't that just the most wonderful excuse!!! If I weren't a demo, there is no way I could be getting all that I do!!!
And no, no extra discount, at least not for me!!! Just the normal discount we always get.
Well now this is a fun thread! Thanks Stamp_Momma Lori for droppin' me a note about it.
I really love the new catty - I think it's beautiful, and well organized.
I'll order holiday sets later, because oooooh I do love some of the holiday sets! But this is what I want for my first order:
Wanted
Bronc Buster
Fabulous Flowers
Outlaw Paper (drool!)
Moose You
Priceless
Dog Gone It
Little Flowers
Big Flowers
Yappy Day
Here Kitty Kitty
STAR punch
Maybe the Scallop Punch (a girl can't have too many scalloped punches)
And I can't WAIT for the next MINI catty!

Anna, I got to work with these two from your list . . . 3 words: to die for! You'll love them and I can start posting my samples soon! ;)
I'm actually on vacation right now and barely got a good look at the catalog before I left but I'm about the same as Val -- I defititely saw a lot of accessories and papers that will be on my first order but so far I haven't chosen any stamp favorites. Need the return flight home to digest everything!

Hi Anna!
Your blog is one of my faves and causes me to spend way too much money *grin*
I knew we had the same tastes - your list is basically the same as mine. I am debating the moose -love it just wondering if I would *use* it a lot. But SO cute and what Canadian can turn down a moose set? ha
Why did that CUTE moose have to have a tear? I know it's because he's sad, but it would have worked without a tear just as well! I do love him!
And to clarify, I do LOVE many of the sets, but am trying to be more pragmatic this year and really study the sets to see if I have a purpose for them. I have 4 full shelves of retired stuff that I just HAD to have, and realize now that getting a set because of the *I LOVE one stamp in it mentality* has got to go!
So, as of now, I've got punches, papers, and just:
My "initial" wish list . . . However, I'm sure it'll undergo additions--ahem, 'er *cough*cough* modifications, I mean to say--as I see what cool things everybody makes with sets that didn't catch my eye on the first round! ;)
Boatloads of Love: Although cute, I wasn't ever really fond of Loads of Love, but, this little tug boat? I just love boats (images of boats, anyway), I guess, living near the sea? Sweetly tempting!
Polka Dots & Petals: Polka dots, daisies, and circles are always a *huge* hit with me
All in the Family and Family Accessories: Cute, fun, interchangeable images! DANG! If my children were younger, these would be a *must* have; I can draw a pretty good stick figure, but this takes all the work out of it and the kids would have a ball
Sporting, Just Basketball, and Just Soccer: YESSSS!!! Finally!!! My family doesn't play all sports, so I have always been irritated at large sets that feature *every* sport--I only need certain images and would never use the bulk of the others. Great art style, gender-less (both my son AND daughter are playaaaahs!!!) and so reasonably priced!!! Well done!
Fabulous Flowers: Two of my favorite fonts (Porcelain, and Circus) are featured in the one sentiment in this set, and the floral images themselves are nicely sized, with plenty of potential for mixing and matching. And, for some odd reason, I have a thing for chrysanthemum images--almost as much as I do daisies!
Priceless:EXACTLY the kind of Bohemian influence that I love--very clean, sophisticated--and, if I want to distress it, I can. But, I think it's PERFECT as is! LOVE LOVE LOVE this!
Stem Sayings: No matter what other contemporary florals you have, this set is a natural to pair with 'em
Wild West Alphabet: Absolutely *uber* cool. 'Nuff said.
Define Your Life: I love dictionary definitions, and while this set is on the spendy side, I still think it's an excellent value for all the different definitions--28 images!
Patterned Paper Collections: Fall Flowers, Linen Prints, Porcelain Prints, Wintergreen & Cutie Pie
On Board Clipboards: Everybody likes clipboards--they're fun to decorate and practical!
Photo Corners Punch: 2 different sizes of BIG corners built into one punch--sooooo smart!
Ribbon Originals: beautiful, classy, as well as the Double-Stitched and Taffeta Ribbons. Very nice to see something besides organdy, which had been in the catalog for so many years.
AAaaaaaaAAAAnnd:
If I had a deeper counter/work surface, I'd definitely consider the Stampin' Stack & Store--a spinning embellishments organizer that accommodates all the many, many Store containers I already own. SO COOL!
Aaaaaah, fresh new rubbah! Always cause for celebration, eh?!

Yes I totally agree that SU nailed it on the head with this collection of sport sets. Price is incredible value!

I'm new to stamping so I'm glad to see that some of you have Garden Whimsy on your lists - I love the style! Wondering if anyone is interested in Seasonal Whimsy, I'd like to see what people do with that one!

I like Seasonal Whimsy! I will probably order it closer to the fall/winter holidays. It's different - and I see lots of sparkle potential!

Okay, the list making is over and I have pressed submit. You'd think I was naming my first born for all the obsessing I did over my order. LOL

One thing I have not seen much hype over is the new classy brass stencils. I do not dry emboss anything, BUT did you see they are now PIERCING TEMPLATES???? OMG! I was on that like white on rice. Paper piercing is one of my most favorite techniques and I am looking forward to being able to do it with a template. Freehand just doesn't fly with me most of the time. LOL
I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else chooses.

I just ran to my catty I was so excited... but I'm afraid there isn't a basic gray marker after all. :(
I didn't realize there was paper peircing on the bras templates. Some of those may have to go on my wish list.

There is one, Jen. Unfortunately SU offered it as only part of pa packge, so I had to order a set of 4 to get it, but there is one available. Look on page 165 in the neutral section under the "assorted" sub heading. There is a set of 4 neutral marker set for $10.95. Next to it there are 2 **. Refer to the bottom of the page to see that **BASIC BLACK, SAHARA SAND, GOING GRAY, BASIC GRAY
I didn't NEED the other 3, but had to get them in order to get the one I wanted. So YAY, get excited again! LOL

OMG! I didn't see that! I'm definately getting them. The only one I have is black. THANK YOU!
At the risk of disappointing everyone... I'm getting by with a $200 order.
I've ordered mostly new accessories.
I'm only getting 3 new stamp sets:
Priceless
Here Kitty Kitty
Little Flowers
That's it. I love lots of things in the new catalog, however, with a larger number of gals in my downline now and doing more workshops, I need to pare down and become more efficient. (I know... Oh the horror! lol) I don't want to order sets that I love but will just sit there unused because of lack of time. KWIM?

I am totally excited about these. I got a few last year when the new catty came out-like bodacious bouquet and seeing spots and was thrilled to see the paper piercing was included. I had to get the priceless classy brass on this year's order.
