After looking through this month's gallery, I am once again, in awe of their talent. I started thinking that I want to take lessons from someone of that skill level.
That got me wondering if any of these ladies, aside from being SU! demos, are involed in teaching stamping classes. If I lived nearby, I would sign up immediately!

Hi Lisa:
Thank you so much for the kind words about the Fan Club Gallery -- they are greatly appreciated!
I am an active SU! demo and I do teach stamping classes in my home on a regular basis. I believe that Sharon Johnson (notimetostamp) teaches classes as well.
I see that you're in New York, so you're just a little bit too far away to attend a class, ;) but if you have any questions on anything in the Fan Club Gallery, we're always here to help.

Keep your eyes peeled in the SCS get-togethers forum/threads...DD gals are often asked to do small demonstrations at these get togethers - it's a fun way to meet them/us and also learn a thing or two!

Ditto to what Meg said! Plus, if you ever have a question don't hesitate to PM one of us.
Oooooooooo yeah! We have two coming to ours on Saturday -- DD alum cookiestamper and one of last month's dirty girls flaxychick! Lots of other talent will be there, too.
I was unaware of the 'get-together' forum and just went to take a look. I'll have to keep a look out for events near me. Sometimes, it's difficult to find stamp-related events here in southern New York. Anyway, you ladies are terrific and I really admire your work!
Some are demonstrators for DSA companies, others teach at retail stores, and some do both!
I teach a few times a year in various retail stores out here in the PNW/B.C. Canada, and had the great fun of being invited to participate at a March 07 SCS Gathering in Everett, WA by the organizers! It was a total BLAST!
I've also travelled to San Francisco, CA to teach a stamp camp to a large group of stampers in that area, a few years ago--OMG! SO*MUCH*FUN!!!!
If you'll check the bios of all the DD, both links here: current and alumni, there may indeed be one or two out in your area--PM them to find out if they teach, where, and what their schedule is!

A big WOW to all the ladies on this thread from the DD gallery. Amazing talent and just all around nice with the offers of PM's for help and questions. Keep up the wonderful work that you do
Okay I just saw your avatar Yvette (you already know how talented I think you are) and I thought you were a DD Alumni!! Are you a new designer this month ???!!!! I just realized my subscription ran out and I have to renew!!!
Ladies, love, love, love your work. I just finished wiping my keyboard after all the drool. Sorry if that is TMI, however it is the truth. Wow..what an honor it is just to be able to read through your galleries and see how your minds work! Love it and if I can attend a class(es) I would do it in a heartbeat!
Ok, forgive me for the stupid question, but who and what are the Dirty Dozen? I'm so very new to stanping and this board and I find that there are a lot of things that go over my head sometimes.

So are there any get togethers in Hawaii this year? I am bumming. Just moved here and lost all my stampin buddies. Found a nice new group to stamp with but no "freinds" yet.

Of course, she didn't charge me for the mini-lesson tho....and let's not give any ideas....;) LOL
