Question Die cut galleries?

Hi!
It's been years since I've been on Splitcoast Stampers (you can tell from my Gallery....looks like 2004/2005??) Lol! Wow.
I'm slowly getting back into card making, and have recently started using die cuts. (Sizzix, poppystamps), but I can't find any galleries related to die cuts (with those names). Am I looking in the wrong place, or do they just not exist?
I'm glad to be back here, I remember everyone always being so friendly and helpful!
Will continue to look around and re-familiarize myself with everything.
Have a great day!

Jo-Anne

Hi Jo-Anne, Welcome back - and happy stamping.

No, you are not looking in the wrong place...The only specific galleries for uploading to (apart from the big-event challenges) are the SU sets, listed alphabetically and also the current Mini in its own location for ease of access, and the Technique Spotlight galleries, for all the tutorials that have featured each week in the Inkling. Plus the Anything But A Card section for all the 3D and altered stuff.
Just use the company name (and specific die too, if you like) in the keyword field and/or the accessories field and that's great. If you're looking for ideas, just use the search bar in the gallery. Using Advanced Search lets you narrow results down quite a lot.

If you add the name of the die to keywords you could do a search that way, but people would need to start adding keywords in order to get any results in a search like that.

Kathy, a general search would bring the die name up even if it were listed in the write-up or the accessories fields. The plus of keywords is that they're clickable links to the search results. The negative of the general search is that often people don't list the die name at all. I'm sure I'm guilty of this myself sometimes, though I generally try to. I know I've seen a few lovely cards recently that just say "dies and embossing folders". Well, at least it's good for my budget not to know what to look for ;-).
