Default Demos who offer 20% off?

Are there any demo's who offer 20% off to long distance customers who don't require workshops but who order quarterly? Just asking as I can't find a demo that I care for in my area. Not asking for much other than mini catalogs, PayPal and catalogs. Thanks.

Do you pay for the "long distance" shipping and for catalogs?
I can't really imagine a demo agreeing to this otherwise. They would be losing $$. The 20% off is their whole profit, so it would actually COST them to do business, if they had to mail the orders to you and give you a catty. KWIM?

Good luck finding a deal like that though!

Some demos do this, although SU frowns upon it. The ones who get a volume rebate due to higher sales get more than 20% off, and some demos do it just to help keep up with their minimums. I'm not condoning it, just saying...

I'm curious what makes you say that. I was a demo for a couple of years and never saw anything to that effect. I always got the impression that they encouraged you to run your business as you saw fit within the rules.

When I was a demo, I sometimes offered my 20% discount for any of these reasons:

- To encourage people to place an order to combine with mine so I could get hostess benefits
- To get more volume rebates (bonus you get on monthly sales totals)
- I was close to some goal or extra bonus and needed a few more sales
- To make my minimums if I didn't need anything that quarter and didn't have other sales

Hello Firequeen,

SCS prefers that when a person seeks a demonstrator from any company, that you seek demonstrators nearest you by contacting the company or using their company website. For Stampin' Up!, you'll find a locator at: www.stampinup.com .

I'll be closing the thread, and hoping that you find a demo near you to speak with directly.

Thanks for your understanding.
