The problem being that Annabelle doesn't have ANY sagging ink pads from SU!
I don't know where you got this. I have 3 main demos and 2 I use occasionally. I won 3 of the new pads when they first came out. Before I ever had a chance to really use them I ordered 6 more. I no longer have 7 of them. The 2 least used have survived.
Our group purchases the blank pads by the case from ATRS when they have free shipping. We pay 75 cents per pad and they are identical to the old SU pads. One reinker more than inks the pad. I am not sure where anyone got the idea that the demo sells them, but she does order them for her personal stamping use.
Oh please just let this thread be light-hearted.... it gets really funny then the pot needs to be stirred again...
Quit stirring the pot! It's a good night to laugh!

Out of curiosity, does your demo use these blank pads for her workshops?
Actually, I should probably change that, since it's been so dry here, the skeeters haven't been so bad this summer! LOL
As for squishing skeeters with my ink pads --uh, no way, Jose! Don't think so! Those babies don't even go outside...they are lucky if they even make it out of my craft room!
Ink pad does not skeeter squisher make!! Or, sumpin' like that!!
It's been so hot here this summer, with so little rain, that we also arent having a mosquito problem this year. It is SO enjoyable to go outside and actually NOT get bitten to death ... I am loving this summer. Last summer, once evening came, I didnt dare step foot outside.
We are the same here in Sask. I was outside for several hours on a reasonably cool day close to a copse of trees this past Wednesday, and we only had some flies bothering us. Normally we'd be coated in mozzies. We didn't even have to put on repellent!
3 regularly, 2 when they offer deals I cannot pass up. I belong to 2 10 clubs done by the 2 most creative demos on the planet!! They each get a guaranteed $10 at one per month and $15 per other. A third is a friend who gives me 25% off every purchase WHEN she needs sales to make her minimum. I stock up on paper, etc. with her. I also buy on ebay. The other 2 offer amazing annual specials and I buy gifts then (4 of my sisters and 5 cousins stamp!!). I buy all Xmas and BD when they have their buy one get one 1/2 off or get a marker and reinker free with every set deals. One does a just before Christmas sale where if you buy $100, everything after that point is 50% off, but you have to buy every year to stay on her list for this special.

Wow....Usually I don't get sucked into these kind of threads...but this one I just can't help myself.
I can't believe that a woman running a business would actually cost herself money by giving away her profit and then some, by selling to you at 25% off.
Being a demo, I often give some of my discount to my friends and family, but never MORE than my discount actually is. That just doesn't seem like a smart business move.
I believe she makes more than 25% based on what she has told me in the past. I also wonder if she does not get some $ from the women who signed up under her.
Woops, that particular demo is NOT the one who makes 25%, I was thinking of one of the others. She does this to keep her minimums up. The competition is pretty high around here and 20% off is common so she one-ups.

holy cow-what part of the country is that? Yikes-rough stuff for demos. I have only heard deals like that once before.

Socks, toothbrushes, books, or videos are not NEARLY as enjoyable or addicting as RUBBAH!
Depends who you talk to Consuelo. Get me at the State Dental meeting and I am like a kid in a candy store when I get around the vendor booths. I honestly have 7 manual toothbrushes open right now that I use (I'm really liking the extra soft from Oral-B) and 3 power toothbrushes. Not all at the same time mind you, but it is fun to try the new products.
I do have more RUBBAH than toothbrushes, but I seemed to have CASES of toothpaste when I was in hygiene school. Thank goodnes for the shelters taking it off my hands, whew, I did have more toothpaste than RUBBAH, NOT GOOD!!
