Default DECORATED WINE BOTTLES

I tend to give wine as a gift over the holidays..does anyone have any ideas or sites to show a good way to decorate the bottle?

Thanks,
dcb

This is not stamping related but last year at one of my craft fairs there was this lady who was selling decorated wine bottles and other centerpieces. What she did was covered the bottle in holiday fabric, then tied some holiday decor on the top for example a St Nicholas face, etc. I hope you get the pitcure. It's hard to describe but it looked gorgeous!

Papertrey Ink had a die for a wine tag in this month's release. Here is a link to the designer's blog showing how she used it. After you get to the blog, look on the right under Archives and click other posts showing wine tags she made with the die:

And here is a link to Nicole Heady's blog post showing what she did with the wine tag die. Scroll down a bit to see Nicole's version:

You can cut a piece of cardstock at 4 inches wide by about 8 inches long, score at about 2.5 inches & then using your circle punch a circle & hang over the wine bottle. Decorate as you would a Christmas card. Looks like a door hanger. Same idea as the wine tag only bigger.

TD Wine and Chocolates by Tangerine Dream - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers - this one incorporates a little box for a couple of chocolates too. Neat idea, even if I don't think wine and chocolate go together.
I've often seen just fancy tags tied round the neck.

I absolutely love these wine scarves created by Amy Rohl. They are just too cute!
