Default DARN! Lost a clear stamp

So I managed to lose a teeny clear stamp from the Boho Indigo Clear stamp set. I think it jumped out when I popped the box open. Does Stampin Up ever replace a single lost stamp?

No, they do not. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry you lost the stamp. I hope you do find it. If you cannot find the stamp, and you really want it, my suggestion would be to find the set on eBay or another selling site. You might even find it on the selling thread here on SCS.

I feel your angst, and I'm sure you've looked until you're sick of looking.
Do remember those can stick to something else in the vicinity of the escape.
They can also bounce farther than I ever think to look.
If papers were on the same surface, they might be hiding that stamp.
Breathe .... and take a little break away from the search. ;-)

I always check the trash in my craft room first; got that suggestion here, and it has saved me more than once when I've lost something.

Did you actually see the stamp before it went missing? It might have been missing when you received it.

Yes at this point I have had my chat with St. Anthony (patron saint of lost items) and I’m hoping some day I’ll just find it stuck to something.

Yes I had used it several times (which often makes it less sticky over time)

Oh, I've had that happen too. I hope you find it sooner rather than later.

I had that happen years ago with a baby image that I was going to use for baby Jesus on my Christmas cards. I ended up copying the image on the acetate. Three years later, I took out something in the kitchen cupboard. My husband didn't know what to think when I yelled out, "I found baby Jesus!" They stick to anything!

Easy fix...just buy the stamp set again....That ensures you'll find the missing one! Never quite understood why that phenomena happens over and over!

I've actually found a tiny stamp I lost over a year ago. I had resigned myself to it being gone forever. I pulled out something I use quite a bit, and there it was...the tiny "e" I had lost. So don't give up hope. I had gone through the trash, nearby stamp cases and stamps, everything nearby, and it just magically appeared over a year later.

Check the bottom of the stamp case or the paper trimmer too.

Lost a "JOY" stamp once and looked for it for days. A few weeks later, my husband found it at the other end of the house - we are assuming the cat played with it long enough and finally left it there! I was so happy to get back my joy!!

You can also do a SnipIt of the image and print it out card stock. You would then have to fussy cut around it but it may be an option for you. It may turn up still. I lost a small clear stamp one and I found it in with another stamp set. Have also found one on the carpet in my craft room when I did a big search - didn't want to vacuum it up by mistake. Hope you are able to eventually find it.

So sorry that happened to you, Nancy. I know firsthand, how that feels! Over the last few years, I've lost a few clear stamps / little ones, and they blend in so well with my floor, they practically disappear.

I love Stampin' Up! and what I do, is buy the stamp set again, from Ebay, as others have suggested. Being a stickler for learning my lesson, I have kept up with how much money I've spent so far, having to buy stamp sets, to replace one little stamp! It's almost $60.00.

I hope you can find that stamp. Maybe it's in a corner, or "rolled" somewhere near. Good luck!

Beth

Hope you find your stamp. I had things go missing. Thought I would find them when we packed up everything and moved out to do a reno on our apt. Nope Nada. But found them when we moved back in. They were photopolymer and were stuck to a plastic tray. LIfe is strange, lol.....
