Angie,
Going to try to do a couple cards! Otherwise I will truly be disappointed with myself!
Getting all the baking items organized ahead of time! I always package up the dry ingredients ahead of time so I just have to reach for a bag and add the rest! Enables me to bake faster!
I always have a draw full of all different colors of card stock all cut to A2 size cards and bags of every color of background papers cut. Cut different shapes out and colored a few images. So I will do what I can -- will relax me in-between baking!! LOL, as if doing wedding cakes for 250 - 300 guests is relaxing!!
Can't wait to see everyone's cards and projects in the gallery!!
I haven't seen an answer to that question but I would guess it is CST...and early to mid morning...early being 8 AM...mid being 9 AM...10 AM being LATE!
But remember...I'm guessing...I KNOW NOTHING!

One more sleep night...and oh did I sleep last night, it was wonderful rest...
Must spend 30 minutes in stamp room today preparing.
Must have menu planning session with daughter.
Must freeze 20 pounds of blueberries.
Must rearrange one freezer.
Then...
Tomorrow, tomorrow, it's only a day a way...

Side note...my purpose in participating in DTGD is so I have a large group of cards to donate to my local little hospital's "Infusion Bay". Most months I donate 15-20 cards...I talked to a nurse when I was at the hospital the other day and she told me how much the patients enjoy having those cards available during their procedure...That made me all the more excited for DTGD...
I'm thankful for having learned about HYCCT and finding my own little nook of year around donation to my little town!
SCS...is wonderful place to be and learn...thanks to all those behind the scene people who make this happen...

What kind of cards do you donate there? Birthday? Thank you? Blank notes? I have such a stash of cards and looking for something local to do with mine.

I do them just as required for HYCCT...the insides are blank, I put a tiny label on the back of my card promoting Splitcoaststampers.com, I provide the envelope and put both inside a generic brand sandwich bag which I fold over to be the size of the card and tape the fold to the back...
The people can see the card and not exchange germs. If I put a message on the inside then I stamp that message on another piece of cardstock so it can be seen on the back...and I write..."inside says"...
Also...I only provide cards that would require regular postage so tiny embellishments if anything...
It is a great way to give away what I enjoy doing...who would have thought "I" could do this? Again...it is the thanks to this community for giving me confidence...and desire...

oh...and yes...to the birthday, anniversary, thinking of you, get well, baby, and they even asked for sympathy which I was leery of but some of these patients can't be in public because of germs and the nurses have assured me that sympathy cards are needed!
At graduation time I made a few with the local school colors and in winter I do a few winter cards...but mostly ones that I myself would send...in my style...but NOT all in purple!!!! :p

so excited for this years DTGD! I agree with mamasix, but instead of a notebook to keep track of the challenges, I use a little excel spreadsheet- good ole copy paste there- and that keeps me on track. Can't wait to dig out my "soon to be used" backgrounds, colored images and Embellies! Yay!

Time is coming! My problem - our church picnic is this weekend so I probably will not be able to join in the fun until Sunday night! Have fun Fan Club members!

But the party starts Saturday morning early...can't you join us for a few minutes before you go off and play all day in the sun (or rain depending on where you live!)

Made my candy tonight, tomorrow cut, package, price. Bake pies, do errands with DH!!! Gotta keep him happy too. I should go up and work to help get everything ready, but I now leave that to the younger ones! - - I will join in when able! Have fun! See you later!
Dunno. I'd have to check the archives... It's just that someone said 41, and I counted 40 on the spreadsheet.
That was me, I saw the post before the spreadsheet was fixed...I was too fast for my own good...but...I was expecting about 50 challenges...so 41 seemed low to me.
