when you use the cuttle bug emboss folder to put ink in, is it easy to clean?

I tried it with Colorbox's Fluid Chalk ink and it came right off without any discolouration.. =) stazon or ancient page would probably stain it bad...

Julie Buehler has a tutorial on her blog showing how she inks hers with a rubber brayer and then wipes the ink away with a baby wipe. It looks sparkly clean! Here is the link to her blog:

Thanks, aFancycat, for that link! Had no idea that could even be done so it's great to see it in action.

I used Stampin Up classic and also Brilliance inks and it came off with no problem. I used wet wipes and also have a sink close by.
I used the brayer and it does give a better coverage.
I just uploaded a card using the Fantasy Floral and it looked better to ink up the side without the logo.

I use VersaMagic and Brilliance. Comes off with a baby wipe!

Here's a video on YouTube that works. She uses a brayer but you can use the ink pad directly on the folder too..

I did this using the Happy Birthday folder and the ink pools on the plastic. It is very dotty on the cardstock....is that how it is supposed to look?

What kind of ink did you use? Did you use the brayer or just the "direct to plastic" technique?

I used SU classic dye and used my rubber brayer. I tried it with craft to see if it would look any better but it looked really baaaaaaaad!!!! I was expecting a smooth look but I guess it would make sense that the ink would pool on plastic, right?

I bet a chalk ink or one of the stickier ones would work well. I would go play but I'm getting ready for bed!
