Does anyone have one of these??? How do you like it compared to the other types of trimmers??? I am asking because a friend bought one for me at a garage sale and of course the blade is dull, dull, dull. I am having a really hard time finding a LSS that carries the replacement blades and I am wondering if it is even worth the time and money to hunt one down. What sparked my interest in this trimmer is that it also has a scoring blade and a perforator blade that you can buy extra to use and the perforator blade sounds very interesting.
I personally don't like it. I have a hard time measuring with it. I have 3 different paper cutters on my table and that one never gets used. If you get a new blade and get the hang of it you'll have to post your success story and share what I might be doing wrong. I don't like the magnetic bar either.
ok have it 'loved it' because of the diff blades...........but..............the pad wore out under the blades and for the life of me I could not find a replacment. I bought a fiskars and use it now. still have the cutter pede though. If i come across the mat I will replace it and use it til it dies
I am not sure the stores are carrying them anymore.good luck
I have one and really liked it at first. It really cuts straight (no slight movement of the blade like you get with the old style Fiskars). But, it is hard to measure with and I always find it hard to hold the bar up while I get my paper in position (use my forehead alot  ). Now, I just use my Fiskars for every day use.
I really like my Cutterpede. Your blade could be dull, but I bet it's the cutting mat underneath that needs to be changed. Pop it out and rotate it so that on the same side of where you have been cutting, you have a new space to cut on. When that area wears, pop out the mat again and this time turn it over for two more cutting areas. I've seen the Cutterpede at Joann's, so if you don't have a store nearby, I bet you can order replacement parts online. Good Luck!

I have the Cutterpede and I love it. I too thought the blade was the problem and bought a new one. Still getting rough edges. Read a thread here about the mat, turned it around and viola! the cut was good again. I will be looking online for a replacement mat, but I'm sure I can find one. I had a fiskars and hated it. I was also thinking about getting a Carl cutter (read lots of happy threads on SCS), but since I turned the mat around, I've decided I don't need to. I'll let you know what online source I find for replacement mats.
I love my Cutterpede! AC Moore used to carry the replacement blades, mat etc...but discontinued them. Jo Ann Fabrics does carry them...I usually buy several of each...am sure you can get them on line. I find it very hand for cutting pieces under 2".

I absolutely love mine! I have had it for about a year now and I just replaced the blade and the pad. When you do find the replacement pads, they come in a 2 pack. The scrapbook store where I work sells a bunch of them. Too many people are disgusted with the Fiskars and it not cutting straight.
