Default Cutesie Christmas gifts.

Merry 5 days after Christmas. I would like to get ideas of fun things you were given or you yourself gave for presents this year. I love giving things with cute little sayings. For instance, I gave a bottle of pickles that said.
"We were in a PICKLE trying to decide
what to give you for the holidays.
Finally, Just in BRINE, we came up with this.
Merry Christmas!!

I just love the little homemade look. Would you share your ideas with me. Thanks a million. Deanna in so. Utah

Your poem would have come in handy for me. We gave my FIL a case of 12 1QT jars of homemade pickles. He was thrilled! lol

How cute! I always have a few people on my list that really don't need ANYTHING. This is such a cute way to let them know you care but not over-purchase.

I did one I thought was sweet for my BIL this year. He's an avid golfer and I was tired of getting him golf balls every year (last 4 years). So I made this:

The Magic Golf Tee by askagain at Splitcoaststampers

He really got a kick out of it.

At my office we received a cute jar of mixed nuts and the tag said: We're nuts about you!

One of the gals in my card club did a small bag with a battery in it.

The 'topper' of the bag said, "Gift not included."

It was hilarious!

(Obviously, we're used to plenty of gifts that say, 'Batteries not included.')

I've always loved 'punny' gifts...How about folding a disposable diaper into a pouch, line it with colorful tissue paper and insert some fun little personal items with a tag to 'Take time to PAMPER yourself'. Or, slip some potpourri in a decorated bag with a tag 'To a SCENTsational friend'. Another idea is to put a variety of soups in a basket and attach a note thanking them for doing a SOUPER job. The list goes on and on...
