I thought it would be fun for all of us and have it in one place, to share links with all the cute things you can do wity SU new Petite Purse Die. Here is one that I found tonight
I don't have it either, lol! I thought it would be fun for others to see what you can do besides making purses with the die, so if anyone come across any, please share!!
Got my die last nigh! I think this die is the best from SU-it is very straight forward and the tabs fit together perfectly. I made 14 in no time at all. The ones I made are very plain in comparison to the ones shown. I want to try making the fishing creel because I have several men in a group that meets once a month. I try to make something to give the group members whenever there is a special occasion. The purses work for the women for Mother's Day so the guys can get a fishing creel.
Everyone is so creative and this die just brings out the 'creative juices'. You will only be limited by the supplies you have to work with.
1. The handle on the one is front (oops-which you can't see, is the die cut handle adhered to a strip punched from EK Success Donut Chain) & the flower is the smallest rolled rose from a MFT die
2. The handle of the floral one is made by twisting kraft ribbon - kinda like raffia
3. Eyelash yarn is wrapped around the handle of the wild print purse with the frog (This one is for a young girl who loves frogs)
4. The fishing creel is a combo of ones by Cristy Butzen & Cheryl Garratt (buckle)
I just love this die!!! Gave a bunch away at the monthly group gathering and everyone loved them. The guy kept calling his a purse and his wife said , "It's not a purse, it's a fishing thingy!"
Ideas keep runny through my head and I keep scrounging in my stash of stuff. Know I'll be using it at Christmas because my daughter has sisters-in-law that are into designer brands so will see what I can copy.
Will try the faux crocodile print directions that Lynda so generously shared.
These are so great! Thanks for putting all of the links in one place!
