I can't imagine the business they must be losing.
Everytime I get an email from them...I TRY to go to their website, credit card in hand...ready for some shopping....and I can't get in. I WANNA SHOPPPPP!
This happened last week too...email...big promotions...and nothing...I couldnt shop..and gave up.
oh well...just venting
Perhaps it would be better to find out WHY you had difficulty getting in to CUTATHOME before dissing them on the board. ON her blog she explains that due to the great increase in volume there have been herculean efforts to upgrade the site to accommodate the bigger volume. Thus the slowness and then the sudden increase the response time. Marcie has/does go beyond the extra mile to help her customers-- for those of us that have been around a while realise that and support her.

Wow, I don't think she was dissing them. She merely explained her frustration about not being able to shop.
I understand, I can't get on either and that's just not at the end of month, it's very slow the rest of the month for me as well.
I'd keep trying. Sometimes sites get overwhelmed with hits and cannot handle the traffic...I've noticed many times when an "alert" of sorts goes out on SCS the other site crashes. I was able to get on the site this past weekend and did make a purchase. Their discount coupons are very nice!

I just placed my first order and my computer froze up. Then I got two e-mail confirmations for two orders! What a mix up. I'm certainly not blaming Cut at Home. They're probably extremely busy. I e-mailed them and I just hope it can be straightened out. Now I'll just have to wait for my stuff to arrive and hope it's only one order!
I have always had good shopping experiences with Cut at Home. I ordered the new releases of the cuttlebug embossing folders about two weeks ago and they came within 4 days. Internet traffic is frustrating at times with a lot of different sites. Wow.....that just means a lot of people are shopping there, obviously for a reason. Probably from enabler alerts from this website ))
I got up in the middle of the night, cc in hand. Thinking it can't be slow and busy now but I was wrong. It took forever to get through the shopping process but my computer timed out before it let me checkout. I'll try again but it sure is darn frustrating. In the middle of the night, yet! I've ordered from them in the past and had a long backorder but good service.
Earlier I was on the website and it mentioned that they were having a lot of problems due to the earthquake and that you should call to place an order.
I called Marcie for the 1st time ever today(and this is my 1st time ever ordering from them) and had great customer service. i explained to her that i couldnt get through on the website and she said that their server was having issues do to the earthquakes.. and then she let me place my order... she knew excactly what i wanted to order even though i didnt even have an item number or anything. i just explained what i wanted to her.
i will be ordering from them again, with great customer service like that.
Marcie is the best! I finally got through late yesterday afternoon and picked up two of the new CB folders plus a few other things. Got a notice this morning that it will be shipping. Woohoo!
