Default CTMH question

On page 102 of the Fall/Winter Cattie, there are photo storage pages on the right side. My question is about the Z4117 four pocket page. The description says "2 vertical, 2 horizontal pockets, holds 8 4x6 photos"

Wouldn't it hold 8 6x6 photos? Basically want to know if the 4 pockets are 6x6 in size and not 4x6. Am I making sense?

Thanks

No, they are 4x6. They hold two vertical and two horizontal on each side. If they were all 6x6 that would make the page protector HUGE. I only know this because SU used to carry these.

Hope this helps!

I do not have my catalog with me, but, here is the description from my website - are they the same ones?

"Z4117 FOUR-POCKET PHOTO STORAGE PAGES 12" x 12"

Use the horizontal and vertical storage spaces to create your own "spread" featuring photos, memorabilia, or journaling, or simply as an organizational tool for future pages. (2 horizontal and 2 vertical pockets each; holds eight 4" x 6" photos. 10 pages per package.)"

Yes those are them. Here's where I cant figure it out. The four pocket is a 12x12, so if you divide 12x12 by four you end up with roughly 4 6x6's. Then there is the other pocket storage page that holds 6 per 12x12, and divided that is 6 4x6s. So both are 12x12s, one holds 4 4x6s and the other holds 6 4x6s??? Doesn't make sense. Could be I am just not 'visualizing' it correctly. Theres a picute of the 6 pocket one but not the 4 pocket.

It is because you have one of each size side by side. One is 4x6 & one is 6x4. So on each row it will equal 10" and the 2 extra inches are used for spacing. I hope that made sense.

Good luck!

I get it!! Okay, I do admit that I had to draw it out to understand, but now it makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain!
