Default CTMH (Close to my Heart)

What is your favourite thing by CTMH? I have one alphabet and block and I love it, I am off to a party tonight and I want some ideas of their best stuff! Thanks!

I'm pretty partial to everything! ;)

I love the stamp sets!! I use them much more than anything else. I make my own paper with random stamping. Stamps aren't just for cards.
The level 2 paper packs are my favorite over the level 1. Each has their place, but I'm not a begining scrapper, so the ability to do more with the level 2 is great.
The blocks are wonderful, just like holding a woodie. I also like the ink pads.

Have I been any help?! lol
Enjoy your party tonight!!

Oh, I LOVE CTMH (and I'm a SU demo!). I love their Window Charms and Big Blooms paper flowers. I have bought SO much from them....my recent favorite stamp set of theirs is Adorable. Their patterned paper is gorgeous, but I don't use pp much. I LOVE to look at it, but I just never reach for it when creating (I like to create my own looks). Hmmm...what else do I have?...almost all the blocks, about 20 stamp sets, the Create-A-Shade paint, White Daisy paper flowers, Big Blooms, Window Charms, circle Coluzzle, Bigger Brads, organdy ribbon, self-adhesive rhinestones (which I'm out of and need more of!)...even though SU sells an edge distresser, it comes with two other tools I don't want and CTMH sells it by itself so I'll be getting that next.

I love SU, but I REALLY love CTMH and will consider joining them if I ever go into pending (I'm letting things take their own course). Have fun at the party! I'm jealous!

I just got my hands on a few catty's and I can say that their patterned paper is GORGEOUS! I HAVE to get some (saving my pennies). I also really really really want their Flower Child stamp set. It reminds me of Anne Geddes. I agree that Adorable is a beautiful set too. I also want the Big Blooms Big Pink flowers. Ok, so I want a lot, lol.

I love their white daisy organdy ribbon. SU used to carry it and doesn't now. But CTMH does in two sizes and it is exactly the same wonderful stuff.

I love the new paper called Silhouette, coffee & tea sets, new background sets, some of their sports sets and many of their greeting sets. I got Christmas paper in Dec. that is beautiful (bright blues w/fuschias -- very non-traditional colors). I am an SU demo so I don't buy a lot of acrylic stamps but they have some sets/themes you can find anywhere else. They also have a good variety of colored embossing powders.

I love thier papers too. Sillouhette (sp?) is very nice.
I'm partial to SU! paper b/c I don't like CTMH's white core, but there are some CTMH colors that SU! does not have an equivalent of, including:
Bamboo (my personal fave - i always stock up on this)
Crystal Blue
Honey

They also have self-adhesive vellum! It's awesome! You can stamp on it, put in the printer, etc., then cut it out and stick it - so easy! Likewise they have self-adhesive linen and twill paper. Both are stampable - very cool!

I like their "prima" style fall leaves.

Alphabets are good b/c some small fonts come w/ multiples of common letters so you can write out names/ titles/ phrases, etc. on a big acrylic block and stamp the whole title perfectly lined up in one shot.

Window charms are pretty snazzy too.

Enjoy your party!

I'm going to have to start with the basics as i have a few acrylic stamps but have been in SU stamp club for almost a year now so have very few acrylic items I love SCS. However does anyone know of a website that has a gallery of CTMH stamps similar to this gallery? I love all of the ideas that everyone has!!!

Thanks for all the great recommendations, I can't wait to hear more. I just realized I put his post in stamping talk and it should be in product, sorry! I would love to see a gallery of CTMH creations as well, can't wait to hear if someone knows of one!

I just had a CTMH party on Saturday- over two years since I had one!!- and I love their sets. I actually met the demo on this list and she lives right by me!!! I decided to get their set Thing of Beauty because of the goodie she brought me using this set in chocolate and blush and using the More to adore paper. I am also getting Nursery Bash because I have 18 great nieces and nephews and one great-great on the way to shower with little one cards. Have fun tonight. Oh, I looked at all the sets she bought and compared them to the catalog and just touched to see what I really wanted because most catalogs don't do justice.

Things I really like from CTMH:
- Ink pads.
- Blocks (best acrylic blocks anywhere). You might look at the block buddies, too.
- Their buttons in their exclusive colors are very nice and you get quite a few.
- Divided page protectors if you scrapbook. They have 3 or 4 different versions and they are great quality.
- MyAccents embellishment organizer and craft jars. I really like this because it's portable. I have two of them and use them to store all my metal embellishments, like eyelets, brads, photo turns, etc.
- 6 x 6 paper organizer envelopes to use for clear stamps that don't come with a case.

I have seen the papers and embellies and they are nice! I never attended a CTMH party, but would love to someday.
Just seeing the online catty makes me wish I had a demo close by to be enabled some more! ;) LOL
