OK, so they're called "Craft & Rubber Scissors" and I bought a set for cutting the rubber stamps. (BTW - they're fantastic for this.) So what else do you use these scissors for? Can we get even more out of our purchase???
I LOVE MINE! I am so glad I finally listened and bought them. I had 10 stamp sets not mounted because I couldn't cut them right with anything I already had.
I won't use them for anything but my stamps. I don't want to risk the chance of ruining them.

I mostly use my scissors for cutting apart stamps. But I also use them for general paper cutting (trimming around shapes, for example) when I'm making cards. I have a little Fiskars scissors sharpener I use on them every once in awhile, and then they're good to go! (I've actually been using the same pair for several years now. I got another pair in my starter kit when I signed up as a demo in February, but I feel like I should save those for something ... )
They work so well for cutting out stamps I am afraid to use them for anything else. After each use I clean them with goo gone and put them away in a safe place where no one else will get a hold of them and cut up something that would ruin them.
Rubber only for me too. And I've told my DH to never, never, NEVER use them. Same goes for my paper snips. I just know he would take them to the garage and use them as wire cutters or some other nonsense!

I use my just for rubber... I have tried to cut ribbon/hemp with them in the past, and they just didn't cut right... I dunno, I have two very nice pairs of Fiskars that I use for paper and ribbon, etc, and love them. But ditto to everyone else, the craft & rubber scissors cut through stamp rubber like BUTTAH!!!! ;)

when I use wire in a project I cut it with my craft & rubber scissors rather than the paper snips. And, I use C&R scissors to cut the opposite corners of a metal edge tag to make corner frames.
