Question A Couple Questions?????

So I have stamped Santa and coloured everything what color would you suggest I do his face as I have left alot of the image white already? Second, For Santas buckle I didn't have a sivle watercolor pencil crayon so I dipped my blender pen onto my silver ink pad and used that. Is that a serious faux paus? It worked and I got it out of the blender pen. I am still quite new to all these different techiniques, but not new to the basic stamping.

For his face, how about just a little chalked pink on his cheeks? Maybe add some color to his eyes...blue or brownish? As for the buckle...definitely NOT a faux paux, lol! A true stamper thinks her way around a problem, and it sounds like that's what you did! I bet it looks great! Another thing you could have done is use your versamarker pen (if you have one) instead of the blender, and then added some embossing powder to heat emboss it. It sounds like the card is really cute how you've got it though! Gonna upload it for us to see?

I agree with Betsy - if you don't have a nice fleshy-toned chalk, just sort of *pink* up his cheeks a little. And you are smarter than me when it came to that buckle. I would have been stumped, but you got it!! I bet the card looks great!

SU's blush blossom is the perfect skin tone. I just use it straight from the marker.

Hey, Santa can be any ethnicity in my book! Make him tan. Maybe he's been in the tropics? Surely they have spray-on tans at the North Pole! LOL!

Your card does sound adorable!

I don't own the chalks, but I sometimes use a little pink powder blush on a q-tip for coloring cheeks.
