There's a cool brick and mortar 'craft thrift store' I go to in Rocklin, CA called ReCreate, that is AWESOME! They help support school art programs and have tons of name brand crafting supplies that was donated in to them. Whether you like stamping, scrapbooking, painting, yarn, fabric, leather goods, sewing and more...this is the place to go with everything a fraction of the price as a regular store. If it sounds like I'm a walking advertisement--it's because I really like the ladies who run it and they do such a great job.
On a recent visit I picked up several, brand new SU stamp sets for a few dollars each! These were only discontinued in the last year and had never been used! Lots of ink refills, embellishments, and pretty much anything a crafter could love. I go nearly every Saturday to see what's new and I love knowing what I spend goes to helping to support kids art programs--If you live in the Sacramento Valley--Check them out!

we have nothing like that around my hometown. Michaels and JoAnns are about a 30 minute drive.. the local craft store shut down during COVID and never reopened. Wal-Mart used to see some of the craft items I use, but since they brought back the fabric/sewing dept the eliminated the stamping dept. They used to sell the UK stamping magazines that had the free gifts too - but those also stopped. They only sell the newer Cricut machines and some supplies... and some cardstock.

Wow! That is a fantastic idea! My local scrapbook and stamp store has a giant yard sale once (maybe twice?) a year. You can rent up to 2 tables and the store sells the items for you. You are paid at the end of the yard sale with store credit. That's a pretty good deal, but this crafty thrift store is a REALLY good idea!
How cool is that? I would go often too!
I looked them up as a possible mail to donation idea, but I don't know if you can do that. I think you would have to contact them...but they are amazing with all they do! Thanks for letting people know!

Wow, I used to pass through Rocklin on my commute from Grass Valley to Sacramento (went to Beverly’s there often). I moved away 6 years ago. I’ll be visiting my kids in May and I’ll have a chance to go! Thanks.
Ahh - I love this! I would love to have a store like this, creative reuse items with classes and a work space. I feel sometimes like I must have "I want your unused craft supplies" written on my forehead - I have inherited a lot of things!
