Default Combining text messages with pictures on scrapbook pages

I would like to include the text messages that came with pictures (usually comments or explanations of the picture) on my pages without having to either type or rewrite them.
Any ideas or tutorials?

I would be interested to know, too. I have taken a screenshot of the text message and printed it out like a picture but I know that’s probably not ideal.

If you want to extract the text from a screenshot, you can use Google Keep Notes. Take a pic or screenshot, add it to a note, tap the image to get the 'grab text' menu. The app places the extracted text into the note. Sometimes you need to do it twice. Btw, I'm on Android but I'm sure there's stuff available on other platforms.

Can you just cut and paste what you want? I have system call Text Edit that is like Word, but I have a Mac, so it's what I use. That's what I do to save things like that into my Documents. For just the picture you can double click and choose "Save As" and then you can just go with the name that comes up or change the title to what you want. I know some programs are different, as I used to have to save the picture separate from the text, but as long as I gave them the same name, I could save them in my Documents side by side and that worked fine, too.

Yes, the extracted text is just normal text that you can copy, edit, and save.

Hoever, it looks like the Mac has its own version of text extraction from a graphic. I found this article, if it's any help:

If I wanted to do what the OP wanted I would just highlight the whole thing and copy and paste, or I could just save the entire post. I didn't know how to explain it to the OP because I didn't know what device she was using. Normally I don't want the comments, unless they clarify something. In that case I just copy and past that to the same text document that I created for the basic information. Thanks for the site. I will check it out. Always looking for better/easier ways to use technology.

Yes, of course! If it's a text message, just copy the message text into your document. But I thought there was a screenshot of text involved, as well. So, there's two different solutions anyway.

Default Combining text and pics

Thank you for the help! I think I will experiment with these options— depending on the story, one will probably work out better!
I knew y’all would have ideas!

Thanks!

mhewett, this is what I thought I would do when there are several texts relating to the same picture. I just wondered if there was a way to print from my iPhone to paper — like a sticker (ooh, I might have stumbled on a solution! — I still do mostly physical scrapping)

Thanks for the help!

Printing from an iPhone is WAY above my pay grade! Good luck.
