Default color combo for copper

Hey folks!
I would like to copper emboss the leaf from All Natural and would LOVE any suggestions for color combos for the cardstock. I have only scraps of Mellow Moss and no ballet blue.(Which are the obvious choices, no? hee, hee.)
Thanks a million.

My absolute favorite color to use with copper is taken with teal.

Here is my favorite card in my gallery using this combo:

I've only used it with Forest Foliage (one of the few colors I have), but I love that teal one (one of the other colrs I have since my first purchase included the RR classic pads).

Because of the orange tones in the copper, one classic combination is with blues -- I prefer the greener blues like turquoise and teal. This is because blue and orange are opposite on the color wheel.

I did a Thanksgiving card last year with embossed copper, and used direct-to-paper with copper ink along with close to cocoa ink on vanilla cardstock. I really like the way it looked (can't find it now or I'd scan it!). I love the idea of the teal, also!

I did my 2004 holiday cards with copper eyelets from A.C. Moore. I used Old Olive Paper and Ruby Red.

Here's a link! Hopefully it works!

I received a beautiful RAK from StampinSandyH with Botanicals and she used night of navy as the base, included a torn piece of copper vellum and copper cord, it was gorgeous!
